SCRUFF

Like most dating apps, they now charge for more features. However being able to block someone for abusive behaviour is a basic safety feature and should not be limited. I have now deleted my Scruff profile for this one reason. Even Grindr allows unlimited blocks. Do better.

Scruff dating site has been OK when first joined it about 5 years ago! They've made some changes I Did Not like a few years ago. Issues with login and password. There support was OK? But really didn't help much, So I left in frustration, leaving my Newly found friends behind! After having Major Issues with Bear 411, id tried Scruff Again... And it Really Really Impressed me with its Updated Changes! I'm Very Very Happy To Return! It's faster, and kinder to Android devices! I haven't yet needed technical support, but because of how well it's improved, and how they tried to help me in the past... I expect Great treatment an help as before! A+!

I constantly get guys wanting to go to what's app, or cell phone numbers to chat
2 -3 times daily. You know the one I'm in the military bah bah bah.
Or send money for sex. I was on SCRUFF last summer same $#*!. SCRUFF is not a ligetiment dating site same your money and your time it's a fraud.

Scruff allows people to post a profile without a photo. What this means is the place is overrun with trolls & scam artists. Furthermore, if you try to block folks without a profile photo for security, there is a limit to how many can be blocked. Trust me, with all the anonymous users on there, you can run out of "blocks" pretty fast.

The photo policy makes one think this company is not run by free-thinking LGBT staff. One's waistband of one's undergarments must be lower than the outer garment...? No pictures in swimwear...?! Who runs this site? The Freedom Family Council, FCS?!?

Finally, it's a crap shoot as to whether you'll get a compassionate customer service person to respond to your needs. And, let's just say, the odds are not in your favor. Typically it's someone with an obviously staged nickname who appears to answer by rote, injecting little evidence of a sentient being on the other end into the dialogue.

Who indeed owns this site? Do they have any connection to the Gay community, at all? That's the question I'm left with.

Waaaaay too many other gay dating sites in the sea to be dealing with this nonsense.

I don't like using apple pay, always very difficult to cancel my membership, especially when I am not used to using it, try asking for help, it's a f**king nightmare.
I signed to scruff and used Apple pay. I deliberately went in straight away to cancel my autoship, as I had previously been SCAMMED into believing it would be simple to cancel, which by the way I did NOT agree to. They just FORCE the customer to sign up to autopay.
My membership does not run out until 3/01/24.
On 14/12/23 $24.99 was STOLEN out of my account. I did NOT give any authority to withdraw any money from my account.
It has taken time and effort to try and recoup $24.99, still no money!
Both Apple & Scruff as far as I am concerned are SCAMMERS.
I keep getting the same BS email from Scruff, it's all Apple's fault.
They make canceling an auto pay so challenging that SRUFF & APPLE hope people just give up, don't notice or don't remember
They could easily give an option at the start for auto pay, yet that make it SO HARD to cancel after or like me I canceled and they still STOLE my money!
You people SCRUFF & APPLE are OUTRAGEOUS you know exactly what you're doing, you have put in place a SCAM that you make look like you are doing us a favour to continue the autoship.
One word to describe my experience with APPLE & SRCUFF is " DISGUSTING"
