I cancelled my flight tickets on 10th Dec for 21 st Dec 2024 and still my 48 K was held back my Make my trip on context that Air India is not refunding the money. I followed up atleast 25 times on emails where Suraj one of the MMT associates confirmed the refund of 48 K will be done if I furnish my medical certificates. After sharing the same, there was only follow-ups and nothing else. Its disheartening when you see giant aggregators not focusing on customer service and refund for their retails users.
I had a really disappointing experience with their holiday planning services. I went on a 3-day trip to Goa, and it was one of the worst services I've encountered. The sales representative, Sonali Dey, was unhelpful and provided an itinerary that had both South and North Goa covered in just one day. I requested a split itinerary, but she kept giving excuses and claimed it wasn't possible. Eventually, a local coordinator had to step in and divide the itinerary properly.
On the second day, I was only scheduled to visit one beach, and it turned out to be one where swimming was prohibited. When I asked why, they claimed they weren't aware, though the driver later confirmed he knew about it. Additionally, they failed to communicate timings correctly. I received calls from different people, each giving me different schedules. I even ended up arriving at the cruise 2 hours early because the driver said they called me early due to traffic, though it was unclear why.
On the final day, I was only able to visit one beach, which turned out to be one of the dirtiest in Goa. The drivers were also a major issue—the first one was dozing off at the airport, and the others drove very slowly, never exceeding 30 km/h, even on empty roads.
Honestly, it's better to plan your trip by watching YouTube videos and doing your own research than rely on this service. It was an awful experience overall.
Makemytrip's services are of Worst quality. Customer care number never attended. It gets disconnected automatically even if you try for 100 times. I had a problem with refund. The Bus operator(Naveen Travels-Durg) cancelled bus from his end and did not refunded. Ticket was booked from Makemy trip.com...tried for getting refund...Makemy trip did not responded. I will recommend customers to delete app of makemytrip from their phone & never do any transaction with it
A very bad site. Disregarding customers' time. Changing a ticket took more than a week and the trip was lost. In exchange for the site putting an additional amount on the ticket, I did not receive the ticket. After many calls and procrastination by customer service, they asked to pay an additional amount as well. An unprofessional and bad site by all standards of the word. *******

It was totally fake about refund policy. What they written on website. I booked hotel in some reason I cancelled booking. Worst experience once you book the tickets they won't reply even the don't care about customers reply so i request to every one that please don't waste your money there are many good options instead of make my trip. Once I booked ticket from Sharjah to New Delhi the booked from Abu Dhabi and told me that its from your side so I contact with airline told me that problem is from make mytrip.com so discuss with them I shared the proof from airline but unfortunately they reject to check it, when I asked mytip.com to show me the proof that I booked ticket from Abu Dhabi not Sharjah they told me it's our privacy we cannot share anything with you. You can check the attachment that I received from makemytrip.com you will laugh…. Hahhahahahahha.

MakeMy Trip is the worst site as they list hotels which are dangerous to health of the customers as these hotels are infested with mould and very dirty. The bathrooms are unuseable. Made a complaint to the customer service and they came back with an insult offer of Rs. 200 for next booking.
Told them will never use them.

They are frauds. My ticket was never refunded even though they sent me email that i am eligible for a refund. They close the complaint tickets without resolution. All around a $#*! show honestly. Dont let them fraud you as well
Answer: I had a tough time getting back my refund as flight was cancelled. Flight cancellation hassle was due to airline which was a different story, but they surely did not help in refund. Finally got refund after 4 months. Cant comment on other aspects but getting Refund from them was painful and difficult, to say the least.
