Amazon was great and is still good but you can find so many things cheaper and better in other places now. They charge way too much for their prime memberships. Also they use so many trackers and other data collection tools you basically have to sell your soul to purchase there. Now with AWS (Amazon Web Services) almost all traffic is routed right through them including our camera feeds.

They've got great customer service and that I must give them credit for considering their size. The free shipping with Prime helps but what you pay for prime almost negates it. The quality of product fluctuates wildly. I know the Amazon Branded batteries were exploding and they didn't seem to care.

First of all, it doesn't get any better than a company that so willingly supports thousands of non-profits. SO easy to do, just by choosing your non-profit when you sign in and then shopping as you always have. There is no reason not to use Amazon Smile when you shop at Amazon.
Also, they have the BEST customer service. When something goes wrong, even when it is a 3rd party seller through their website, they are more than happy to make sure to rectify the situation. Their primary goals are customer satisfaction and quality of products!

Amazon, I enjoy and use your services all the time, but when you mess up it's a huge pain and you don't care! I purchased $300.+ worth of groceries to be delivered on a Saturday morning by 9, the items never showed up and after waiting for "the call" that would fix it all, and asking to speak to a supervisor, nothing. By noon, I started a new order for the next morning, and repeatedly asked for some compensation for all the trauma I experienced. Guess what, 5 whole bucks?! And Jeff Bezos is many times a billionaire, way to treat one of your faithful "prime!"

Amazon USED to be good but it is terrible now. I am a Prime Member and my packages have recently been delivered late or have been lost. Amazon Customer Service refuses to refund me or help I have had to file a claim with my bank to get a refund. Something is wrong in Amazon land and it's getting worse. I am buying from Walmart and on Ebay now.

Smile is a great program that Amazon offers. It is easy to navigate, place orders and confirm orders. Easy to get customer service to work with in dealing with an issues, which is rare. Thank you for providing a place to shop and give back to the community.

If you spend £20, the 0.5% donated equates to 1p. Amazon can afford to do better than this. If they abandoned their main site and donated from every purchase, this would be a much more worthwhile gesture. Also, their main charities are huge charities who receive plenty of support already and don't have great track records which leaves nonprofits with tiny support systems wanting. This is essentially a marketing scam by a vile company which refuses to treat its workers with any semblance of respect. They want you to spend their money on their site and they are doing this by making you think you are doing a good thing, when the help you are doing is essentially negligible for the charities that really deserve your help.

I'm not saying this site can't help a little bit, but it is a total marketing scam covering up for years of disgusting treatment of workers and tax avoidance.

Really, you shouldn't be shopping at Amazon at all if you truly want to do a good thing for the world.

Orders are on time, EARLY even. Any disputes are resolved. Products are superior & you can hands-down find the BEST prices! I only wish I had bought stock in Amazon when they started out!
