This is an app based program which is already been penalized and had a settlement with the FTC for selling your financial and private information to other vendors. They're scumbags avoid them that goes for their doctors too they're quacks. Sometimes the cheapest definitely is not the best
GoodRX has consistently had lower prices for both myself and my wife's prescriptions. Only downside is that the best prices may require getting the scripts from more than on pharmacy. Two of my wife's prescriptions are cheapest at Winn-Dixie pharmacy and two others are cheaper at Walgreens. They are close to each other so it is no big deal.
I subscribed to try to save money. Four weeks later and I still don't have my prescription. Every 2-3 days I call or message them for an update only to get the runaround. My pharmacy still hasn't even heard from them. Total waste of money.
I opted for the GoodRX Gold plan, which did save me money. I had just retired and had no prescription/ health insurance at the time. Being a diabetic and heart disease sufferer, I needed help with savings. $99 annually was doable for my budget. Fortunately the State came through with an insurance plan for me. So, bring as I still had 8 months of service left I canceled the Gold plan. I contacted customer service for an ETA on the pro-rated refund. She told me there would be no refund. I asked 3 times before I had to threaten the Attorney Generals office and the BBB, along with every media outlet I could find. They then returned my partial payment of $46.36. I think it should've been more, but was done with them. And BTW, I can't remove my bank card info from their site. I emailed about that today and will keep an eye on my card come August.
I love GoodRX. I signed up for the Gold membership because it used to save me $20 on my prescription. Now I have Medi-Cal so my Rx copay is $0 and I don't currently use any other medications, so I didn't have a use for GoodRX any longer. I called for a refund and they issued it without any concerns or issues! I would highly recommend checking the company out to see how much you can save.
We were offered the annual membership, saving us a couple of months' cost, with the understanding that we could cancel this at any time.
After a few months, and the price of different drugs had changed, we realized the GoodRX Gold offered us no more savings than GoodRX. We called to cancel, and we could easily do so, but they would NOT refund of of the unused months left on the annual membership.
We thought cancelling meant a refund, but it does not!
You basically pay a subscription to not even get a discount. The free version of the service is cheaper a majority of the time, so you'll be paying more for the "gold" service AND your medication.
Do yourself a favor and stick to the free version. It's better than "gold".
I called to cancel my paid membership. I have never used it. My medicare supplement wouldn't pay for my pain med. I got RX Gold and went to CVS with the card to get it. They attached a coupon to my account so I didn't' need Rx Gold for it. The Rep was so nice. He checked and saw I never used them, so without me asking he credited me for every month I was charged! Most companies do all they can to get and keep your money and make it hard
To cancel. I hope their business thrives. I cant say enough about their service!
I'll keep to cancel my su subscription to GoodRXGold. I've been paying g $9.99 for several months and I haven't not even 1 discount for my prescriptions. It was so easy to subscribe but now I don't know how to cancel it.
I was a good Goodrx Gold member and received a prescription for a fairly common issue. I found a pharmacy with the lowest price and had it sent there only to find out they didn't accept Goodrx and the $8 quoted prescription was $16. I called them to tell them and ask for the difference of $8 and all they did was call the pharmacy and verify they didn't accept their program. I wanted the whole membership canceled but she only refunded one month and didn't cancel the membership entirely.
Answer: Their prices were better when I was first looking an comparing but that was when they first came out... I just haven checked other apps so other apps might be cheaper but I am pretty loyal
Answer: How is that confusing? Just cancel ur gold membership an use Good RX
