Zacks Investment Research is one of the largest providers of independent stock, ETF and mutual fund research in the U.S. The performance of our stock research recommendations has consistently ranked among the top research firms in the U.S. by independent evaluators of equity research. This research anchors our active trading services, long-term investor services, and powerful resources and tools.
At the center of everything we do is a strong commitment to independent research and sharing its profitable discoveries with investors. In fact, helping investors find success has been the life's work of our Founder and CEO, who in 1978 armed with his PhD from MIT, hit upon a key discovery:
Earnings estimate revisions are the most powerful force impacting stock prices.
This crucial finding led to the creation of our proven Zacks Rank stock-rating system that harnesses the power of earnings estimates. Since 1988, the private Zacks #1 Rank List has more than doubled the S&P 500.
Zacks Investment Research has a rating of 4.3 stars from 165 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with Zacks Investment Research most frequently mention value investor, last year and long term. Zacks Investment Research ranks 1st among Stock Research sites.

Zacks Ultimate and Research Wizard is helping me make great money! Your system is the best I have ever used!
I have become a more confident investor following the portfolios and tools available as Zack's Ultimate Subscriber. The ZIR site also serves to me as a fire brigade of sort when I need quick but trust worthy input in my investment decision making.
Some Zacks recommendations I bought gave me huge gains and early entry before being on investors' radar. I have multiple triple-digit returns.
I subscribed to Zacks services in 2014, and I can confidently say it's been the best decision I've made on my journey as an investor. It's a very comprehensive platform, offering various types of service portfolios that adapt to each person's profile. I have a moderate risk profile and a strong focus on technology, so among my favorite services are TAZR, Technology, Counterstrike, Value Investor, Stocks Under $10, ETF Investor, and Surprise Trader portfolios. Some of the tools I use most include the Zacks Rank, stock screening, and every night I read the summary of each of my favorite services with the editors' analyses. This information is extremely valuable to me—it helps me analyze companies, entry and exit points, and more. The confidential Monday reports are also an excellent resource. Thanks to Zacks, I discovered companies like NVDA before it became famous, learned about Alibaba's IPO, and got to know PLTR, SOUN, BBAI, QBTS, RGTI, and many other companies that have brought me double-digit gains—sometimes multiple times in the same year. I have no doubt in recommending Zacks and its various editors. The lifetime subscription allows you to receive new portfolios as they're released. I recently started testing Research Wizard, which I hope will further expand my toolkit for successfully evaluating stocks.
I follow a lot of your recommendations and sell also when you do in Zacks Ultimate and especially the Technologie Innovators. The ETFs with leverage helped me to recover after Aprils crash. I've been using Zacks for approx. 10 years and I am very impressed about your follow up.
I value access to Zacks Special Reports. I like the in depth specific explanations of why specific stocks are recommended. I use Zacks and I also use other services. I have my own methodology, and my accounts are doing fantastically! My portfolio has doubled in the past 12 months!
I have been a Zacks Investor Collection customer for quite a long time. I can say that I'm a smarter and wiser investor from the knowledge shared by the analysts and writers of various Zacks articles and portfolio recommendations over the years.
I have many winners in my portfolio and almost all are from Zacks recommendations
I read the summary emails for Zacks Investor Collection, Home Run Investor, Income Investor, Value Investor, Zacks Top 10 Stocks, and Zacks Confidential. I follow Tracey Ryniec and Bryan Hayes on stock related issues, and Sheraz Mian and John Blank on macro-economic issues. While having a long term focus on my investment, Zacks Rank and Industry Rank help me to adjust my portfolio as needed. I have used Zacks Investor Collection since 08/08/2024. Calculated in EUR currency and per closing prices of 05/06/2025, I achived a TTWRR of +22.3% compared to the S&P 500's 1.7% since then.Yes, this year was a roller coaster ride, but Y/D performance now looks better: -7.6% vs. S&P 500's -12.5% (again in EUR).
Following Zacks advises for two months costed me a lot of money. And I think they did not give good advises. Two examples:
1) in feb Zacks advised to buy Walmart, they expected surprise earnings. That was surprising. Walmart had soared 60% in the previous 12 months and I did not expect that the earnings would match that. And indeed, after the earnings presentation later in feb Walmart started to drop. An avoidable loss of 20% in three weeks.
2) Celestica started to drop after it reached a peak value of 144 in feb, At 100 Zacks advised to buy it, because it was at its lowest value. But It kept going down. When it was it 90, the Motley Fool gave the advise to wait till it was below 80 before buying it. This was obviously a much better advise, and again an avoidable loss of 10% in two weeks.
And it became funny/awkward, when I mentioned this to them. At first they denied that they had ever advise Celestica. But their system ranks it 1 (ie strong buy), So I asked if he meant that I should not buy stocks with ranking 1. And then he finally confessed that they had indeed advised it, but that it was normal that you loose from time to time.
So I asked for a refund, which they did give. But then I started to get more and more spam (at the moment 30 emails per day) in which people promise unbelievable profits if I just click on one of the buttons. And I am not the first who has experienced this with Zacks. So I am convinced Zacks has sold my credentials on the Dark web.
As a small time investor for some 35 years, I have tried a number of services claiming that if I follow their advice, I will make winning investments. None of them have ever worked out, their "services" generally turn out to be platforms from which they advertise other sellers of market advice. I have used some of Zacks advice, gleaned from different brokerage info sites, and for 4 years now, have grown to respect Zacks, moreover I have been contacted by them in a very personal way. I have learned that Zacks really does take a personal interest in each individual investor, and that is unique in my experience. Zacks knowledge and expertise in stocks is the best and their crew the most sincere of any of their competitors I have found in my 35 years of market experience, and I have studied it hard.
As a valued Zacks Top 10 Subscriber for a year, I have consistently appreciated their comprehensive and professional approach to stock selection. The detailed information provided on the list of stocks is invaluable. Additionally, the daily market reports enhance my investment confidence and provide insights into the evolving market trends.
Last year, I achieved a remarkable +50% gross return from the ten stocks recommended by Zacks. This service is highly recommended for individuals who prioritize their time and seek a reliable investment strategy without the need to monitor the trading platform continuously.
I check Zacks' site everyday. Zacks' quantitative model based on earnings revisions is very efficient and relevant. The quote page gives a full overview of the stock I own or have on my watchlist, so I can save a lot of time. Many analysts remain in their ivory tower. Zacks' analysts are not in a cloistered environment: they fully understand how the US stock market work (it is very useful for me, as I live in Europe!). In short, Zacks is one of the few financial analysis firm that makes me money!
If I may make a suggestion: I guess it is not easy, but it would be great if Zacks could integrate in its model the quality of management (a crucial investment criterion for me).
I have been a customer of Zacks Research for over 5 years. Zacks is my #1 service for new investment ideas. I would particularly like to recommend their two services that I consider most valuable. The first one is their Top Ten Report that outlines ten investment ideas every year in January. The results of the Top Ten have been outstanding with many of their ideas showing annual increases 10-50% annually.
I would also like to recommend their Tech Innovators Service, which has proven to be very valuable with new technology ideas every month.
I looked at the track record of Zacks Top 10 Stocks, and even though I accept there will be a year when there will be losses, I know over a sustained period of time I cannot do nearly as well. 2024 was amazing. I do not take an individual stock view, I only view the overall performance.
Since I became a Zacks Ultimate member I do have full access to high quality thematic reports. The content has been well researched and does help me to create a future proof watchlist. Combined with high quality stock updates, buy and sell alerts from my favorite very professional portfolio managers, I am armed with the knowledge to be a more successful investor and trader. Thanks to Zacks I got into the nuclear energy and quantum computing stocks before the market pumped.
I have been a subscriber to Zacks Research for over 5 years. Their stock analysis has been extremely valuable to me and I often make trading decisions based on information from Zacks. I would particularly like to comment on Sheraz's annual January Top 10 stock recommendations. These are "long term" investment ideas that have been extremely successful. For the past 4 or 5 years, many of their Top 10 ideas have resulted in 50% to 100% gains during the same calendar year.
I've been a Zacks Ultimate member from the start. In all that time, this is the best Zacks Confidential that I can remember. The fact-based overview is most helpful. It's not a "what I think" or "if this happens...", rather it's putting facts about bull markets and revisions in earnings estimates in context. Makes the intermediate term more investible for me.
I use the Zacks Rank and Screens to create my own portfolio. Using the Higher Highs Screen for selecting debit spreads, I have 16 wins and only one loss in the past two months. Based on Zacks ratings, I have eight wins and three losses for single leg options this month. Using the Uptrend Screen for stocks, I have six wins and two losses this month.
Answer: I have never written a review in my life I like to mind my business and not be in other people's businesses but seeing someone write about Uniekcoins on here gave me the inclination to second what he/she wrote The Uniekcoins (uniekcoins.io) company deserves it. Excellent support answered all my questions and solved the problem quickly. The platform has a very high volatility that allows you to earn. As per my opinion this is the best cryptocurrency company! 70% profits weekly depending on your capital/ investment power Their investment services are professional and with very high Uniekcoins will be in existence for 50 years to come Long term investment has always been my goal. Same thing we all do with life fidelity IRA retirement investments. Very nice and friendly support, the answers come lightning fast, and the support agents are all great people. The account manager explains all the moments and secrets of successful trading.
