I graduated from The F. I. R. S. T. School last year and I am currently working at a major production company learning the ropes of the Film industry. They taught me everything that was necessary to get a job starting out and I even still keep in contact with classmates and instructors. It really was the jump start to my career.
Most schools say they are hands-on, but F. I. R. S. T. Really is. I attended two other media schools and half the time, I was sitting in lecture halls. Here, we are always applying new concepts as we learn them so we can actually see what it looks like in motion. I wish I could get some of the money back I spent on the other schools but it was a lesson learned! LOL
I can tell you about my experience while I've been at F. I. R. S. T. School with an incredibly greatful heart. I've been there now for just over a 6 months and it has been one of the most incredible experiences I've had. The classes that I've taken are challenging but in a good way. The teachers are cool.
One thing I would say about is that it is very military-friendly. Now that I have graduated, I will continue with the land surveying business that I currently own, and I will be working on my general contractor's license. I plan to build houses as I advance my career.
I'm still taking courses at F. I. R. S. T., overall I have to admit that they have excellent instructors and a great facility. I'm almost done and really excited to get my diploma in Film. I am ready to start doing something I love and have the tools for thanks to F. I. R. S. T. School.
I actually just started the F. I. R. S. T. School like a month ago but so far they have been very supportive in helping me and making sure i get everything i need... some1 has been there for me since day 1 and they really make sure u succeed so i think you should def look around but this is a really great school and youl like it if you choose to attend.
I attend the F. I. R. S. T. School and have nothing but great things to say about their program. The program is 100% hands on. Also, the instructors are always there when I need them. I highly recommend F. I. R. S. T. School!
The F. I. R. S. T. School rocks! The tuition was very affordable, I think it was 12gs when I went there. The teachers were always there to help me out, I got unlimited studio time, and after 8 months I graduated. Everyone wants to know what I did since I graduated, and what I went to school for was to open up my own recording studio. And that is just what I did. I was able to take their Entertainment Business Workshop taught by Jerry. It lasted a month, and really put what I wanted to do in perspective. I have been graduated for a year, and work almost full time with my own studio. Do your research, this school is the best decision I made to start my career!
Very hands on school, faculty that really cares, small classes, and no gen ed. I found my perfect school.
The staff is very helpful. At any point in time, they help students. The college also takes good care of students who are financially weak.
