Doctor Gregory Shifrin OB/GYN

I have been a patient of Dr. Goncharov for over 10 years and would not change this GYN for any reason. He is absolutely great. He helped me with delivery all three of my kids. My first pregnancy was twins and very high risk; if it was not for him, I'm not sure my kids and me would be here today and healthy. He took great care of me and never left my side. He is easy to talk to and listens to your concerns and does not brush them off as many doctors do these days. He can be a bit rushed at times in the office but if there is anything serious he always makes time to make sure you understand and are comfortable. I have not had a difficult time getting any appointment with him. Dr. Goncharov is competent and knows his stuff and I am confident and feel at ease when seeing him.

I love Dr. Yelena Trachtenberg, and try to get all my referrals for medical care through her. She's smart, organized, up to date, available for all my questions (and I have a lot), and she returns phone calls promptly. Her exams are quick, but they also are thorough, and she will provide literature and other written backup for all her recommendations. If you are looking for a great gynecologist in Brooklyn, I strongly recommend her.
