Pamela Sutherland, the employee who was assigned to my case, has been unbelievably rude and condescending. I had to bite my tongue so hard during our last conversation to not put her back in her place. I don't know who she thinks she is, but I am done dealing with her. Other employees have been very pleasant. Additionally, throughout multiple weeks of communication, she failed to communicate some crucial contingencies of my disaster relief loans which would have been dismissing factors and saved me weeks of unnecessary paperwork. Of course she refused to admit to any wrongdoing, falsely claimed that these contingencies had been discussed, and continued to be rude and condescending. This woman is incompetent and needs to be fired. I filed a complaint against her but I'm not holding hope anything will be done about it.
It is by the law that we are supposed to get the 1098 by Jan 31 for the interests paid for the year. It is two weeks past. When I called, they said I would just have to wait until I get it but I can't just wait indefinitely. Worst part is that two representatives hung up on me. Third person gave me a phone number that supposedly handles mailing out 1098, and what do you know? It is a non-working number. It is a common knowledge that the government workers are no more than glorified welfare people, and they seem to act just that. Shame that's where part of our tax money goes.
Absolutely terrible customer service. Rules arn't clearly stated. When calling to ask for clarification and assistance understanding contracts, they become very defensive and eventually will hang up on you. Don't even bother.
I reached out to SBA on 11/11/21 and got an answer three and a half months later.
Unfortunately that answer was totally next to the question.
I answered immediately rectifying their wrong assumptions and just received a second email going further on their first response.
A total waste of taxes!
This is the worst website I have ever used. It's difficult to use. It's worse than going to the DMV to wait in line. They have bad everything. Hard to use, poor support. Difficult to register. Poor forms, bad validation. A high school kid could make a better website. I am sure it was a lot of tax dollars for the worst site on the planet.
Like many other small businesses, I was forced to take out an EIDL loan in order to survive Covid. PPP was not an option because the funds were quickly depleted. Now that the loans are coming due, I get notices about payments that are three months late without ever getting a bill to begin with. I have multiple loan bills coming to me via both the portal and snail mail and it's getting incredibly frustrating and confusing. Meanwhile their website is about as user unfriendly as you can possibly imagine. Once again I have tried to log in and once again I cannot as even though I changed my password and it was accepted I am told it is not correct. I can't get to my information if I can't log into your garbage website.
All I wanted to do is make a payment on my EIDL loan.So confusing then they tell you to go to a website called CAF can't sign in.They won't answer the phones because everyone is trying to make payments.I just am making a paper trail to cover my $#*! with the SBA.Next we will owe them so much in interest and they will close businesses I pray this site gets redone to make it easy to pay a SBA loan.Back with Interest.Someone Help
I was on hold for over 30 minutes to speak with someone about making a payment, the rep answered and told me to just go to Pay.gov and create account and click on make payment. I kept telling the rep that I already have an account and that there is no option to click to make payment. The rep told me its as simple as that and thats how you do it and hung up on me haha. This place is a joke. Now I am trying to make a payment on a loan that I cannot make payment to and cannot get a hold of someone that will assist me.
Every time I try to use the portal to access my account, I CAN'T GET IN! I have to call for assistance because my password is wrong. However, it is the new password that I made a few weeks ago. 1st I wait because all the help people are "busy assisting other callers." We work for at least an hour. Today I worked with a young lady that tried to help me for over an hour. She tried everything she could to help me. Some of the things she tried were things that had been used before that actually worked. NOT TODAY! With all of these negative reviews you would think that someone in charge would take the initiative to get the software fixed. In my opinion it is NOT the people. All the people that have worked with me have been respectful and hard working except for one guy that hung up on me. You know why he hung up on me? He was at his wits end. That wasn't his fault. IT IS THE SYSTEM! GET IT FIXED!
I paid off my loan more than two months ago. I paid more that I owed ( I was instructed to do so, by SBA) and they haven't send me my credit yet. They should pay me interest!. Stay away from them. They don't help at all they make profit from covid 19.
Answer: The SBA denied our company funding during a global pandemic based on a poor credit score, even though, by law, the money was to be allocated to ALL small businesses. Not just the big chains like the shake shack who have several locations and hundreds of employees. SBA cares... Yeah right.
Answer: It is my opinion.it is far from providing the service for which it was created.
