Useless
April 11, 2015

I would not recommend this company. My experience; I received a non-emergency text at 1:30AM which woke my family. I sent an email on this matter and was ignored. Today I attempted to contact them by phone "VOICEMAIL FULL ".

They scam you by charging you for other items. Things you never need. Then when you call them up they will not refund your money. JR from the north west office scammer!

I just got off the phone with Experian tech support who couldn't help me.
I had an account with ProtectMyID and tried to log in, the error I recieved was that my password was incorrect. (which is not the case) To reset my password they would send an reset to my email associated with the account, the email they send me emails to. I never receive any reset in inbox, spam or trash folders.
Try it yourself, go to protectmyid.com and you will be routed to https://www.experian.com/consumer-products/protect-my-id.html?pc=ref_exp_pmid
So I called Experian. They were able to find my Experian account but they sent through to 3 different departments who could not access my ProtectMyID information. In fact they had NO knowledge of ProtectMyID and told me that ProtectMyID isn't part of Experian. Either they are idiots, which then I don't want anything to do with Experian, or this is a HUGE invasion of Experians accounts. They wanted me to call their security department to report the issue. I don't work for Experian, they do, but were not interested in anything about ProtectMyID.com.
My suggestion would be to stay away from ProtectMyID.com & Experian. Either the left foot doesn't know they have a right foot, or they are idiots, or it's all a ruse, or they just don't give a Sh!t.
