I've sent multiple emails, one per week, in regards to my Sony camera that I needed fixed. I have yet to receive any feedback at all after over a month. Not even an acknowledgement. If Sony didn't go through this company I would never have even bothered.
I used this company bc it is what is recommended through the Sony site… they never called to say that it was ready and then when I finally got it back, they fixed the broken lens focus, but had broken the view finder. The problem is, I had bought a new camera in the meantime so I didn't use this one for a few months… I had only tuned it on and checked what was damaged had been fixed and then put it away. The first time I actually used it, I realized it had been damaged in this new way by precision camera… but now it is past their warranty so they won't take ANY responsibility for the "repair". My only option is to pay the minimum repair fee of $300 again. The very least you could do is offer a discounted repair fee? I'll go somewhere else, thanks.
Send my camera in for cleaning from spots in photos. They replaced sensor and mirror. I got the camera back in about 10 days. Camera came back very well packaged the camera looked new inside & out. Very happy with the service on the phone the lady was very nice.
Don't haste your time sending your Sony gear to this place. They charged $952 to repair hdmi port of my sony a7sii, Almost price of the camera. Ridiculous. To send it back with no repair they charge $80, I paid $16 for 2 day shipping by USPS.
What a pathetic place to fix a camera. The location in El Paso is small considering how many cameras they claim they repair. Come to find out, they send the cameras to Mexico to be fixed out there. The process is long and the repair work is poor. My camera still doesn't work. Don't have your camera fixed by Precision Camera unless you like bad service and you still want your camera to be broken. If I wanted it to be fixed in Mexico then I would have sent it there myself. They are fixing these in Juarez which is on the other side of the border of El Paso Texas. Look Juarez Mexico up on google, it's like a third world country in that place. Google Juarez Mexico and see fir yourself. They have extremely low standards on quality which explains why my camera is still not working even after I paid. Precision Camera should be telling people this upfront.
I contacted Sony for repair on my under warranty camera and they advised me I would be sending it to Precision Camera for the repair. I was a little apprehensive about sending it out for service, but I couldn't use it the way it was. Within a couple of days of mailing it to them, I got an email notification from Precision Camera that my camera had been received there, and was given a link and case number to follow the progress of the repair. It was received at Precision Camera on 5/17/21 and today, 5/21/21 I have it back fully repaired. My camera was well packed for a safe return, and looks brand new. I couldn't be more pleased. The issue was repaired with the faulty port on my camera replaced. I wouldn't hesitate to use Precision Camera again!
Precision Camera repair out of Enfield Ct and El Paso Tx are the same company and I would urge anybody who cares about their cameras to stay away from Precision.
They destroyed my camera that just had a lens error. Now the screen doesn't light up and my flash won't work most of the time.
Further research and I discovered they have the cameras repaired in Mexico.
Precision Camera should be the last choice on anybody's list for repairs.
They refused to honor their warranty saying that I waited too long and it's not the problem that I paid them to fix. I never had these problems with my camera before. Gee, I wonder who caused them.
PRECISION CAMERA REPAIRS ARE GARBAGE
P.S. Learn to call your customers back when you say you will. Your repairs are garbage and your customer service is just as bad. My camera still don't work yet I paid for it to be repaired. My opinion is that you're a ripoff scam and if you actually cared you would have called me back.
They still haven't repaired my camera after going back and forth.
They overcharge considering much of the repair work is done is Juarez Mexico. The repair work is very poor which is to be expected because I imaginethey are paying the factory workers in Juarez, Mexico next to nothing.
I used the one in El Paso Texas and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Precision Camera is on the low side of quality work. Find another place if you want a good repair to your camera.
My good sized different and children are glad that we as a whole take into account that you display improvement over others along with your first-rate and expert courtesy, so please maintain it up.
I PLACED AN ORDER TO PRINT A FEW PICTURES ABOUT 12 DAYS AGO AT NORTH AUSTIN LOCATION, ANDERSON LANE. WENT TO STORE THREE (3) TIMES AND MY ORDER WAS AND HAS NOT BEEN EVEN PROCESSED. IT NORMALLY TAKE ABOUT 10 MINUTES TO PRINT SUCH SMALL ORDER. I ASKED THE PERSON AT LAB SECTION, AND HE (NOT REALLY CARE) SAID WILL HAVE THEM READY WHEN WE CAN.
I WOULD NEVER GO BACK THERE. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. RUDE EMPLOYEES!
