Pexels shut down my account because i am russian. I had many followers and didn't have time to back up my portfolio and they just closed it because of politic. So now all my work is gone. It's not like i myself started all that fuss in Ukraine, so why all these sites punish us, simple citizens? It's utterly unprofessional and not fair towards its own users.
The website provides a wide range of free images with the option to choose the size and even make the custom size. Of course, it's not so huge as the paid stocks, but they provide the option to buy the image on shutterstock if you can't find the good image on their website. Highly recommend it for bloggers, freelance writers and contributors to news sites.
A good site but i have requested my account be closed and all images removed, as i kept finding my images being sold on other sites. Not Pexels fault as it is made clear, but too many scammers think it is ok to steal and sell images that don`t belong to them.
Since my review Pexels has since changed their terms for use, allowing people free commercial use of images, I am so glad that I deleted my account when I did. It was a good site to upload images to for free non-commercial use, now unless you want to allow everyone free reign to sell your work I would avoid it.
Pexels is the best free stock photo site. They have amazing collections of photos and majority of the users upload hight quality images. There video collection is not bad either but I rarely use it so I may not be the best judge
Came across Pexels when I was tired of using the same 10 stock photos that came with the website platform I manage. LOVE that you can search pexels and download images for free. I used this site so much I started uploading -- I want others to get the great use of this site that I do.
Photo donators/uploaders know that they are putting their photos out there for use. I like knowing that I took some really cool photos that someone else may have a use for.
I appreciate interesting photos and a source for what I need when I don't have it. A free and truly easy site to use!
Pexels has some of the best, and many unique, royalty-free images. These can be used for most personal and commercial projects because they are under a Creative Commons license. Great site!
So, I asked them about how to delete my account and I told them that I'm THINKING about deleting my account because my reasons. Few days later they just delete my whole account without consulting me first. I mean, I even become HERO on Pexels, won one challenge and have 40 millions of views, just terrible.

It's the best website that provides stock photos and they offer it for free, and no credits are required it's great and I love the way they present the photos and videos and it's actually can be used commercially and personally, for free.
It's great of what they offer actually, and I like the interface they offer, and the way that can support creators by donate as well if you want and like the photo or video the creator provides, and they run some contests and creators can win as well, it's both beneficial for both creators and also for the users who like stock photos or stock videos which actually offered on website for free and they have high quality that can be downloaded free as well.
The platform is very easy to use even for beginners on the internet that can simply search with the keywords and find what they looking for as simple as search engines.
The only bad thing on the platform that in some categories or some keywords, or some niche can't find a variety of images, and still low on some categories which I believe it can be later filled by providers and creators somehow in near future, but overall it's a great platform and a great experience.
