A friend spoke very highly of Martin's Point Medicare, and since she's always recommended good organizations, etc. I signed up for Martin's Point Generations Advantage Medicare last October. It's been an awful experience. The latest and greatest debacle, while not a huge deal, is annoying. I'm supposed to be reimbursed for active wear under their Wellness Wallet plan. My friend, who referred me to Martin's Point, gets reimbursed for the exact same active wear as I bought. I'm still fighting with MP. I even sent an email to their president. No surprise that nobody called me back. Sometimes, the devil you know isn't as bad as the one you don't know. I'm going to make an exception here. There are 36 other Medicare providers such as: United Healthcare, Blue Cross, Cigna and more. Check out other plans! Like I said, don't make the same mistake I did. Open enrollment can't come soon enough.
