Rented at the end of November a studio for a week. I got a free upgrade to a 1 bedroom apartment, right in the city center. Apartment was nice, very important - Wi-Fi worked and in the kitchen is even a washing machine, very handy. Cleaning comes twice a week and does a great job. Staff is absolutely wonderful, always answering the phone or by email. Use it, is really good and you pay less than a hotel.
Rented for a weekend a studio in city center, called "Srping Time". Absolutely everything is within walking distance, at literally few minutes: sights-seeings, restaurants, bars & clubs, museum, grocery stores, etc. Most important, even if you are in the Old Town, it is so, so quiet! And super clean. The studio looked exactly like in the pictures. The kitchen was small, but had all what I needed, including a washing machine. Please be aware that you need have to buy detergent, which is not a big deal. WiFi worked perfectly, the large working desk was very helpful as well.
Don't hesitate to rent from Alia Accommodation. Prices are more than reasonable.
Really good central apartments - stayed at this company twice now, last time at the end of February. I travel for business and I usually stay at hotels in Bucharest, but at a friend's suggestion I've chosen a self-catering apartment. First time stayed in a 1 bedroom apt (5 days), second in a studio (3 days). Both in the city center, difefrent buildings, at Piata Universitate.
Funny thou, in the city center, on major streets, but quiet inside, very good windows:)
Very clean units, strong and steady Wi-Fi (most important thing for me), fully equipped kitchen - I used it only for coffee, because it is a shame to eat in, while you there are so many good restaurants and food is cheap. Do try "sarmale", Romanian dish!
Price is absolutely fair for the amenities and position!
