Fraudulent

Bait and switch reservation website. Horrible to non-existent customer service - they are trained and scripted to give you the run around. They always can not find your reservation, can not confirm your identity, will provide a new number for you to call next, and will promise to get back to you in 24-48 hours and never do. Wave goodbye to your $ if you book with them.

Very Disappointed

The booking process was okay, but I did not receive a confirmation email with a confirmation number. I had to cancel my trip, and when I called to do so, I was told multiple that there was no record of my reservations. After about an hour and a half on the phone trying to cancel the reservations and being told that I didn't have any I gave up. I was then charged for 2 rooms at a hotel I never stayed in, and Getaroom told me I had no reservations at through them. The link on my credit card statement for who the rooms were booked through was Getaroom.
I will never use them again, and will definitely discourage, anyone I know from using them!

Just was Scammed by getaroom.com | never used their business intentionally thought the hotel I connected with was the actual Radisson affiliate
Country Inn Suites. Once I realized when I received a receipt not coming from the actual hotel I cancelled it right away. Not realizing they treated it as a non refundable reservation. The reservation came through as cancelled receipt although the payment was just posted as a payment with my credit card. Called their so called customer service they said I cannot get my money back due to their policy. Which is clearly ecommerce FRAUD.
Be aware reported to actual Radisson affiliated location plus FRAUD unit for my credit card.
This company needs to be reported and brought down! After further investigation and research their are thousands of complaints about them on BBB, tripadvisor and other review sites that they acting like you are getting a reservation from the actual hotel reservation online service - they add bogus fees and no ware on the booking info indicates its a non refundable transaction. Please help others by invesigating further -just found out this company was acquired by priceline.com who now is the parent company.plus their is an active

I booked a hotel to coincide with a jazz festival and my 32nd wedding anniversary. Unfortunate my nephew passed form cancer. The funeral is being held during the time I booked the vacation. The small print on the reservation said NO REFUND. I had no luck with Affirm who paid the amt in full. Finally, when i reached out to geta room, I was treated with compassion and respect and within 24 hours Affirm received a refund and I am no longer on the hook for this. They did what affirm did not do in a week in 24hrs, Affirm even asked me to send in a copy of the obituary! When I called the next day, they said they did not ask for it. GETAROOM solved my problem. When I arrived my hotel had been cancelled (not by me) I have spent multiple hrs on the phone on 3 separate occasions to try to get answers as to why this happened. I was told each time my case would be reviewed in a designated amount of time. It never was. Their customer service and integrity is unacceptable. Worst company I've ever dealt with.

I booked on the wrong date by accident and they won't refund my money! The customer service I spoke with were so rude to me! You should be ashamed of your business I can't even believe this is how you treat people!

Hotel in wrong state. No refund, no change.
November 8, 2022

My hotel was booked in the wrong state. It was suppose to be Washington and it was Maryland instead. 3000 miles away. Four minutes after booking it they would not let me change it to a closer hotel. No refund either. Nothing. Too bad. Even though the email says I can make changes until tomorrow morning at 10 am.

Con artists

Be very aware using this company to book any hotel room. They charged over $200 in fees for two rooms that were $170 a night each. Once I realized what had happened I called to cancel my reservation, like any reputable site would allow you to do, and they told me there were no refunds. They'd be happy to cancel my reservation but not refund a single penny. This was after waiting on hold for over 30 minutes. I will never use this site again

I had an issue but I could not figure out and didn't understand what was going on. After leaving a review, the customer service representative called me and walk me through why things happen the way they did and also listen to to my concerns, and very promptly came up with a solution. Based off of the customer service she provided I most definitely recommend this company.

I inadvertently book a reservation on this site, as the website appeared to be of a hotel chain I use. I immediately contacted their cancellation number and verbally told the woman who answered that I was cancelling. She assured me the reservation would be cancelled, but due to a "slow system" it would take time. I later realized that the reservation was not cancelled and they had charged my credit card.
After a series of email with their Customer Service (ha), an employee offered a refund (June 4,2019) which I accepted. But they did not honor their promise. They are not to be trusted.
