Discord

I was a user of Discord, but I was FALSELY accused of trying to scam people out of money and some other crap, so I was given a case worker and we tried, but he was basically telling me that my REAL life is secondary and some other stuff. I will NEVER use Discord EVER again.

Poor custom service.

In January and June 2024, I contacted Discord about email and log in issues. I saved all correspondence as proof. Each time, I received responses there were high volumes of tickets. It is still an ongoing issue with no resolution.

I was a Nitro subscriber. As such, I have filed a complaint with the BBB.

Not to say its boring its extremely flawed and this review will pretty much make a short summary of my experience. There is no bull crap response in this review so lets cut the cheese. First off it is really hard to get someone to join a discord server not that anyone would want to join your discord in the first place unless maybe it is associated with something popular. Another thing is today i faced issues with the servers being shut down but luckily these were fixed. The people there are also easy to get along with well depending on who you're talking to. I still stand by my opinion that social media in all forms should be outlawed and i have pretty damning evidence to back it up. As much as i hate to say it social media may just be the worst invention mankind has ever created. I'm not gonna tell the rest as it would take too much of your time so hopefully your experiences are better than mine.

The problem is people can moderate their servers as they see fit. And thats how people get closed into communities where the only ability they have is to share the same ideology, essentially kicking everyone else out after throwing racism, sexism, etc at them. Customer support wont help you get your money back if you get hacked either

I want to express my gratitude towards this dude. He has worked with me through my undergraduate and now I have just completed my Master degree. Discord is the best VoIP in existence. It has a lot of amazing features and they are always implementing new ones. The great thing about Discord is creating communities. I am in a couple of gaming communities on Discord and the servers are set up by the admins that provide you all the information you need. You can create text channels for written topics (e.g. Guides, screenshots, general information) or create voice channels to talk to friends or other players.

You can use Discord for nearly anything. The great thing about Discord are their screen share, video call and live stream features. You can troubleshoot issues with other people easily using any of those features.

You can integrate applications and bots to Discord using their API. This feature helps improve your server workflow by decreasing human interaction and you can set up bots to moderate the server. Discord is essential for gaming communities.

I do enjoy using the app, it's kind of addicting with its very well made dark mode, we should first address the issues however, and that is mainly customer service and moderation related. The people over at Discord HQ are furries who love to fiddle with their $#*! and ban certain servers and members affiliated with those servers out of sheer bias. They're a bunch of phony social justice gigavirgins who make harassing users online a grueling experience. However, Discord is extremely helpful for grooming children, not only do you have easy access to the most vulnerable kids, but they're also extremely easy to manipulate! Discord does not enforce any age rules whatsoever that you can't just bypass so there's dozens of minors you can expose to gore and furry vore. And uh yeah overall the business is mid..

It wants you to pay for features monthly. The worst part is that you don't even need those stupid features. You think you do, gullible. BUT YOU WASTED MONEY INSTEAD. Discord excluding nitro is nice though. That's why it lost 2 stars.
