The company enjoys a generally positive reputation for its extensive range of high-quality 3D products and a user-friendly shopping experience, with many customers appreciating the helpful support and prompt service. However, concerns have been raised regarding pricing strategies, particularly a perceived decline in value for membership benefits and issues with product search functionality. Additionally, some users have experienced bugs and crashes within the software, leading to frustration. Overall, while customer satisfaction is high regarding product quality and service, improvements in pricing transparency and software stability are needed to enhance the user experience further.

I do not like the pop up when you add an item to the cart
Everytime you add something to the cart you get that stupid popup window. GET RID OF IT
This has gone on for years now. If someone is honest in the forums, that corporate shill, Haseltine, makes excuses for Daz and makes the problem the customers fault. We're not stupid...we see this. I was very honest and got banned from the forums. You still let me buy stuff but won't let me take part in discussions?! This is what drives people to other venues (RenderHub), other forums, Discord servers and ultimately the pirate sites. There's a few disgruntled content artists in many of these venues and what they tell us is not good.
Your foray into NFTs was bluntly stupid and bound to fail, which it has. G9 isn't needed. What IS needed is a Studio 5 that works! Get rid of Haseltine and have the guts to face criticism and respond honestly. This entire hobby is going to change (and has already started) and you (and Rendo and R'otica) won't be a part of it. Did you know that there's a group making a Blender front-end for Daz content which will completely replace Studio? We can't wait for that one.
It's easy to navigate the site and find what i am looking for. I would like a feature that allows to see only the 'wishlisted' products during sales
Many items to choose from, but not many great prices. Whomever authorizes/ok the sales/marketing should go back to school. Daz used to give away many free high ticket items now it's always...get this for x$$$ if you buy this or buy that. What happened to having the opportunity to get base characters free, or like once upon a time $5.99 for a limited time. The longer I keep my Daz+ membership, the less value I am seeing in keeping it. The things I am most interested in are always too expensive, and the weekly freebies often contains mostly textures sets...which are useless unless you have the actual item. Sometimes there is a pose set or maybe a prop or base figure starter bundle, but it is very rare. To get more people interested in Daz Studio Daz should have a limited( 24-48 hour)massive character sale.
All base figure characters(limit 3) $5.99-7.99 each Base only no morphs or clothing items included.
Shopping at Daz website can be an overwhelming experience. It's not always easy to find exactly what you are looking for. Old is mixed with the new, and new is mixed with old. When I do a search I never look at all the results because even after you've sorted there is still so many results.
Website should be broken down like this. If a person wanted Genesis 8, you click and the only results shown are Genesis 8 items. Genesis 8 underwear, click Genesis 8 underwear should be the only result you see. Would be quicker finding what you need.
And so many merchants on the Daz website never mention what products are used in their promo shots. Every merchant SHOULD BE REQUIRED to post this information. There have been so many product promo photos I've seen that had items I was interested in but couldn't find out what they were because the merchant did include/post that information.
Pricing...I know digital work isn't easy and these creators deserve to get paid...but what is the deal with these prices and Daz pricing scheme? Now you almost always have to spend $$$$ to get any kind of good deal. "Buy this bundle at $99-$140 to get 10% off this $90-$100 bundle and so on. Pricing is all over the place.
If they really wanted to get new people into Daz Studio, offer more free items on the website. Base character, clothing, props and so on. A new person coming and getting started with Daz won't have any of these base figures so they won't discover the possibilities of the Daz phenomenon. They(Daz) should offer a base figure every month to entice new people. They get the figure start playing around with it, then they will want clothing, hair and so on. That's how you market, offer something that is going to peek interest not introduce a character/figure and charge$50-$100 for it.
That's why there are some figures I would really like(not bundle just figures) but just cannot afford those prices.
The producta are good but I can't open the studio. Also, there should be more tattoos for genesis 8 male.
As a beginner, Daz sometimes is difficult to work with.
Excellent shopping experience by far from Daz3D for 3D products. Each product is provided with a set of a lot of helpful information on what you are looking for regarding 3D rendering. Discounts for the products add the cherry on top as well as providing additional products that were used in the promotional images to further enhance the shopping experience. I highly recommend shopping at the Daz 3D store if you want 3D assets for your renders.
I've used this produduct for 5 yrs. It's great! With 9 you can do from Genesis 3 up. Which is very exciting. This is wonderful it helps with my indy films, as well as my 3d art work. Thanks to the many content creaters.
Great deals on stuff I normally would have passed up. Much appreciated.
Great sale. Saved a lot. Couldn't find everything I wanted, though.
Fantastic amount of discounts. Was fun to shop around, but not enough time to shop through the rest of today's deals.
My issue concerns the filter. It used to filter out items better. I used to rummage around DAZ just looking at characters or just clothing but not it bunches it all together. Now with 9 it's worse I get men and women together. I'm looking at shoes instead of characters now. It's become annoying to find items.
Format of current sale event is rancid. Needlessly excludes people who need to work or sleep. Contemptible.
Very good 3d products, especially in the "sale!" easy to navigate and well laid out site, with a pretty good search function that usually finds what one is looking for, thank you.
High-quality products are easy to install, and they render very well.
DAZ 3D has high-quality models, the site is easy to use, and thank you for the great free items!
Great high-quality 3d models, also free software to create and render your artwork!
I was looking for some products to create a Frank Frazetta type art, I found a Dragon, figure and suitable attire and gratefully they were all on sale at the time, which enabled me to buy all I needed to start creating the art I was interested in doing, great!
My previous order I was over charged from what appeared on the screen at checkout.
This time I was charged the right amount, however, the day before I was over charged by close to $12.
Daz3d is FANTASTIC! All your people are great! I do love Zachariah the BEST! He's always helping me and making daz even easier to understand. I love the added options (or "un"-option boxes)- makes it even easier to weed in or out the still VAST selection of daz assets;
And I have almost 5000 of them. Okay, just thought I'd let y'all know.
I have almost 5,000 assets. I'm a disabled person that carefully goes through your sales and comparing them to my wishlist.
Today i found MANY of my items as "FREE" I put them in my carts TWICE in two different browsers. When I go to install them, only one or two items are there - and NOT the free ones.
This is terrible! Terrible Terrible!
I can't seem to make anything with all the 4000+ assets I've purchased from you - not to mention the thousands from other stores.
I'M SORRY, but i'm disabled and am slow at learning if i learn at all. I actually was able to figure out the banner freebie again for NFT folk -what's an neft?
DAZ is too generous, thank you for the great discounts
Appreciate the great deals/generosity for the super products
Appreciating all the breaks in price during the holidays, very generous!
Appreciating the price breaks on these items. Thanks.
Really appreciate the breaks in price for the really cool art you are selling. Super generous. Thanks!
Appreciated the breaks on price for the great art
Appreciate the great discounts and the quality of the art.
Thank you (again) for the great discounts on this great art
Thanks for giving the great discounts on these very cool items.
I appreciate the deep discounts you occasionally offer on the great software
The payment process is really clear, and the content is really worth it.
Love the productos and the improvements of the software
It is very unituative - for example you select Genesis 8 (buy for free) and then what? It appears nowhere - there is no way to download it or install it - I thought the idea of Daz vs Poser was this was supposed to be an easy streamlined process...
The only issue (today) I have is that the Generation X add on is either installed by exe or by the manager, and this means no matter what I do I cannot get it to be installed into the beta program... which wouldn't be a problem except the beta 32 bit and the official 64 bit for me haven't done anything more than freeze on the load screen for a few years nosw.
Answer: You get 3 free transfers then there is a cost to upgrade to unlimited. I found a much better program FaceGen Artist Pro. It's pricey at $139 but gives much better results than the built in face transfer.
Answer: Daz has a free transfer program on their website for blender, maya and many more. Works good!
Answer: No, Daz Studio does animation. You will render your animation series.
Answer: Daz3D will not read those files, as they are just text. However, the files can be "rendered" as an image, for use within Daz3D. Or, if you are asking about the other side of things, Daz3D can render images or video, which can be used along with your presentations. Both of those formats you mention, do not normally include "video formats". Neither of them are "image formats". PDF is just a text layout format for printing pages. MS-Word is just a text-formatting program, for use with printing too, for direct display in MS-Word, or on printed paper. However, it can export in other formats. (Not to be confused with "Word pad".) If you can put the words on an image, in any form, they can be used within Daz3D, for display. However, Daz does not have any form of "text-rendering code", to convert text into 3D objects.
Answer: When you register with the website, you will be given a code that is entered for you. If that fails, for whatever reason, you can go to your profile page and locate all "license codes", used to activate all the free items which may need them. (Or the paid programs, if you buy them.)
