I love this website-- I enjoy reading news about company issues and consumer experiences. My only complaint is that they do not have a comments section. If they did, I would automatically give them FIVE stars.
Learn Something New Everyday - Want to know how to get a fast Comcast CS response? Is Sears giving you a hard time about a refund for something they never delivered? Other similar issues? This site provides lots of stories and information about just such incidents and lots more. Comments tend to get boring but often some real wisdom is found in there as well.
This site that comes out of the consumers union is a wonderful information site and educational site. However I cannot give it the full rating for two reasons in my experience with them
1. The site sometimes does not respond back to those who are requesting help from the site such as for example those who need help because of login issues.
2. When it comes to posting one's story regarding a particular issue the site makes it a little bit more difficult than usual in comparison to other complaints sites that make it much more easier to post about an issue.
This site is extremely useful still and should still be trusted for the information that it provides.
I am such a fan of this website. I'm a consumer writer myself, so I may be biased- but it's hilarious.
It doesn't just help consumers, it makes them laugh.
Use it to learn about chargebacks (when you don't get the service you pay for) and small claims court. And use it to laugh during your work day.
Used to be 4 stats but they got rid of the comments section. Only reason I went to the site so until it comes back I'll just go elsewhere.
Had a great time and experience with the consumerist and I am a satisfied consumer. I recommend it to everyone.
