I did some research and saw Zumiez had a review score of just 2.92! That's wild because my experience was beyond 5 stars! Not only did it take only 2 days to ship, my shoes look amazing and they included a personal note on the order sheet! Zumiez in my experience was fantastic! I'm 39 years old and I will never stop wearing skate shoes. Also, the ones I purchased were half the cost of every other online store. I love Zumiez! Will purchase again in the future!

I placed an order to purchase a hat. They offered me to purchase a second item so I could get 50% rebate and save the shipping fees. I placed my order. Total cost 74.66 (about $37 each item). The next day, I received an email indicating one item was back order and therefore they were going to refund. They removed the 50% and they charged me the shipping fees and returned $10. I asked to cancel my order immediately and in response they said it too late. This is a scam. Their sale practices are bad. Don't go there. It seems I am not first victim...
I ordered a product 4 days ago. Today, I checked my account and 2 charges are made to my credit card for the same amount. Its been 4 days, 2 weekend and 2 business days. NO tracking number supplied. When asked, they stated that an employee when drive and hand deliver the product to the resident. Asked when should i expected it? Their response, in total, 2 weeks max! I asked if i can cancel, they responded no because the order has already been submitted in to the system. BUT, the product has yet to make it to deliver service. Wait! They just stated that the product will be driven by an employee and hand delivered!. Product is still at their location and sitting, I cant cancel, I get charged twice, not tracking info, Very poor business practice.
My encounter with Zumiez was a complete letdown. After placing an order, I received a shipping confirmation but no updates. After a week, I contacted customer care and began a frustrating back-and-forth. They promised to reship, created a label, but the package wasn't picked up. After multiple rounds of contact, they finally reshipped without an apology. The entire process took 20 days! Poor service and lack of accountability. I strongly caution against shopping with Zumiez due to their incompetent customer service.
Don't ship if at all possible. They are fast at shipping but my original order had the full address. When the receipt was sent it did not. We had to chase down the items left elsewhere by FedEx due to address differences. Of course the company tried to pass the blame but I have screenshots of the original and the receipt they emailed. They were at fault.
Tried to purchase my children some pants. I ordered on the Canadian side and then they tried to do the US thing with me. The price went from 98 bucks to 115 bucks then was told I would have to pay duty on a product being shipped from Canada to Canada and I am supposed to pay duty on top of that money. Also said free shipping on 49.99 and was charged 28.00. Then they blamed my router and said my VPN was too and I was too stupid to figure out how to order on what side. Was hung up on and called an old Karen because I wanted a refund. The guy on the phone sounded like he was 12. He hung up on me a second time and finally got another lady. The younger guy was screaming in the background that all "old people are stupid" and "need to have a dick in our mouth to shut us the fuck up, bitches like that need a hard dick -I hope she gets raped" (context I am 41 and I don't think any woman should be talked to like that. I have all this recorded).
When I opened my box I noticed a rip in the right sleeve jacket. I wouldn't recommend getting anything online and only in the store to make sure you are paying for what you get amd not something cheap
I attempted to order a pair of jeans for my son, the website told me it couldn't process my transaction and gave me a number to call. I called and the customer service representative tells me... get this... because they are "working from home" they are unable to process orders over the phone AND the security on the website has been "enhanced" so I should try clearing my browsing history, turning off auto fill, using different devices, and messing around with how I write my address! REALLY? I should have to troubleshoot and play games with the website to order a pair of pants? Unacceptable. This is a big company. There is no reason why-if their employees work from home they would not have resources to make sales... most backwards thing I have ever heard of. Also... when I asked if the suggestions didn't resolve the issue they told me to drive to the nearest store (an hour away). I'm disgusted.
I bought red bone barrings online for $28. What a scam. I was so excited when my package arrived. I just turned 15 and bought that crap with the little money I had because I have not been able to replace my bearings. All of them literally broke and I can not explain how bc idk how and now there all broke I have no new bearings just my old ones, and parts of the bearings are also stuck in my new wheels I just bought from there for $30! I'm done buying from here, I loved this place but not anymore y'all screwed me over.
Answer: Zumiez is terrible at shipping to any country that isn't the USA, and the custom fees and taxes to deliver to Canada are ridiculously exorbitant.
