Zomato support called me to tell my delivery address is not correct (Zomato delivers regularly to my flat, and delivered recently on 6 July).
I said the address is correct.
On this, the zomato support guy told me to share live location or he will cancel my order.
I was taken aback, and said it is weird as my address on google is correct, and many delivery apps deliver easily daily to my address.
To this, the support guy repeated his SOP line, as per policy, I will have to cancel, etc.
This is weird.
On requesting refund for my order, because as per me, Zomato support called me prepared to cancel w/o refund, I was told nothing can be done, and no refund.
The delivery person Awadhesh Kumar for order number *******010 just left the food in the apartment building basement/ garage - on top of the generator!
When I call him he says " nahi sir allowed nahi hai undar"(I am not allowed inside).
I spoke to my security and no one denied him entry. He just wanted to drop it off and not climb up the stairs.
When I went down the food was gone.
Zomato offered no refund.
I am attaching a picture of where the idiot left the order.
Ordered and paid extra for priority basis but I didn't receive the delivery for 2 hours

The delivery partners do not deliver the food parcel as per instructions, they keep calling and if we do not answer the call they just cancel the order and leave. As customers we are left without food but order is charged and no refund. This is even if you have a gold membership with Zomato. They just don't realize the problem caused for a person ordering the food, not receiving the food parcel but being penalized to pay for that food. Is it how you service the customers? This keeps happening very often, customer service when asked for support does not have any answer for refund.

Despite reaching out to them and sharing my concerns, they informed me that they have no control over the restaurants and cannot provide any refund or assistance. I firmly believe that when we pay for a service, we deserve nothing less than the best. ЁЯМЯ That's why I have reached out to their customer service team, requesting a full refund for the entire order. I've attached photos as evidence of the condition of the items received.
It's essential for businesses to uphold high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. ЁЯЫС While this experience was less than ideal, I remain hopeful that it will be resolved swiftly and that necessary steps will be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.

Zomato is the shi***st company that I have come across. They should shut down their business. I ordered a cake from a bakery through Zomato. I wanted to cancel my order (as soon as I ordered it), since I realized there was some confusion with regard to the delivery address. There was no option first of all to cancel the order. I spoke to the restaurant from where I ordered but they said their job is to just hand out the product, and I need to contact Zomato. I tried getting in touch with Zomato but in vain. I then called the delivery agent that I wanted my order cancelled. So he took the cake back. I then get a call from Zomato customer service saying that they have delivered the order to the mentioned address. However, the address and pincode given was of a different location. They did not refund the money and the attitude the call center executive had was like she owned the company. She wouldn't give me a chance to even explain. So basically I lost the cake and money. When I tried to contact them, thanks to their wonderful app, there is no number to call, only their crappy AI Zia to answer your queries with limited questions which does even cover what questions you want to ask them. There was this lady Komal on chat and I explained my situation to her. She briefly gave me answers that never even resolved the issue, and then without any further notice she closed the issue/problem and left the chat. I was looking out to put this up on Google reviews with regard to Zomato, and guess what, I didn't find any platform to write the review on Google about Zomato. Such scammers. I have uninstalled their app. Utter nonsense.
Good service. Fine quality of food. Behaviour of delivery agents is also very good. I am very happy.
Zomato is a fraud company. Delivery boys cancel order and they do not refund customers money. They are fraud and nothing else.
Very bad service and worst resolution for the problems they create. Quoting them "we understand your feelings but can't provide additional compensation" on asking to refund the original amount paid. Also, you can't get an agent to communicate to you easily sometimes not at all. After complaining they are asking me to change the review without componsating for their mistake.
I ordered a cake to be delivered for my friends bsay. Neither my order delivered instead cancelled and not refunding my amount. 650 ts cancellation charge. Awful. Ridiculous horrible worst people. They didn't update the address fault is their but I am not being refunded
You are a cheater company. I will never order from Zomato again. I applied as a delivery boy to check how it goes. I paid 500 and submitted all documents and completed training. Then you told me bgv failed. No one contacted me. If you are not allowing me to move forward you should refund my money of Rs 500. Instead you are sitting on it. Refund my money. Swiggy is much better. They contacted me and said they will offer me delivery job. I know gurgaon company like Zomato has very bad reputation. I will broadcast this message to all your social media channel every day till you wake up. My money is precious and I will not allow you to enjoy it
Worst food delivery platform. They don't care about customers and their hard earned money. Mostly Zomato is tied up with 3rd class restaurants. Every time I ordered I had to face some hassle. In a worst case scenario, they would ask us to directly contact the restaurant if some item is missing.
Complete waste of time connecting with customer care. Finally, they will offer a small discount believing that we will be convinced.
I would have given rating in negative, but there's no option. Let's try some other platform.
Great app. Worst customer service. The restaurant accepts my orders & then calls me back to say they don't have items that I've ordered. So I ask for a refund. They charge me penalty charges. For what? Isn't it the fault of the restaurant? & your "we're sorry for the inconvenience" is the worst kind of customer support I have got on any platform yet! No option of zero stars or I would have given that! You did lose a customer today. May be more! Will make sure to spread the word!

I placed an order from a spicy hit by using a Happay Card, but money was deducted from my account, the order was not placed, and even the money was not refunded to me. Kindly check the process. I'm unable to connect with customer service too, this is very frustrating.
Because of that, I need to reorder and paid with Gpay.
What kind of service you wanted to provide to the customers, do you people have some shame, I'm writing emails and bothered about my money and you people are not at all responding, simply sending automated emails, is this a way to treat the customer's queries, you are not fit for this kind of food business app close the website, really useless service, 313 rupees has been deducted and it's not refunded yet from 26th June. It's not the first time that I dealt with such audacity from #Zomato. However, every other time I gave in to the scripts pasted by chat agents and believed that the concerns are passed to relevant team.
My experience on 15th April 2023, with the chat agent Sabhiya, made me believe that #Zomato is only fooling customers and nothing more, neither the feedbacks are passed forward, nor complaints raised.
Forget raising complaint, even after connecting through chat with Sabhiya, post a 15mins past my delivery time, she showed no concern, calmly called the delivery person, asked me to wait further. She refused canceling the order and refunding the amount, she refused to speed up the delivery, she refused to connect me to supervisor or raise complaint.
Finally the order was delivered with a delay of above 30mins from the conveyed delivery time, what was delivered was not what I ordered and to this too Sabhiya didn't care. She is not paid by #Zomato to care for customers, her commutation declared same. Sabhiya is paid for her audacity, #zomato charges us for their audacity.
Zomato delivers late always. If you want lunch, please order your lunch during breakfast time itself.
It's great experience. The ambiance is very well coming and charming amazing wine,food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.
Bhawna is the great,suprb,Thoughtful,Fun and superb host and I love the service and is so friendly with the guest and alway take care to offered the best quality and she provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around the area.
Amazing food at Good price with great must eat Yummy burger range and shakes. Recommended -try atleast ambience once.
