This afternoon, our neighborhood in Nashville was slightly hotter than usual for late July, 91 (per the Apple Weather app, or 102, if you believe Weather Underground)degrees Fahrenheit. But the real eye-opener is the latter's claim of 127 F for the "like" temperature. The Apple app has a very plausible estimate of 93 with 61% humidity. Looks like WU is very unreliable or glitching out, severely.
The WUG used to be good. Now I am not allowed on three machines to login to WUG. Even when I do, it does not work.
I have requested from WUG a link to remove their APP. They ignored them until I posted a less than nice review. In the last few days, I state what I want, and they sent back, "If we do not hear from you in 90 days, you will need to ask again as we will turn off you request", paraphrased.
Now they have a new nonsensical useless answer, reply. Hi, Tony! Thank you for reaching out. We do not have any control over your Air. What exactly do you want to do? So far as I can tell, you are using Weather Underground via a web browser. Are you trying to remove that data from within your web browser? Thank you! —Victoria And I can still not get from WUG a link or directions to remove their app from two MacBooks, or my iPhone. I suggest you all Do Not Use, or Add to your machines! I am going to change my ISP, wipe memory, replace my apps, under new AKAs, change my cell number, and do whatever I must do, to get rid of WUG.
Thankfully as a retired engineer, debugger, I have the knowledge to do the work needing to be done. I just should not have to do the work. Which includes my investments, retirement accounts, doctors, family, friends, banks, credit unions, financial institutions, and everything that must be done.
Sorry for the length, but please do not allow the WUG to get its hooks into your machines. I am sure that the WUG has the same protection from our government, the FBI, and other Federal and Local agencies that will prosecute me, fine me and possibly imprison me if I reverse engineer their software so I may remove it safely, and provide the services to others
It's a great site/tool... when it works! I have complained and complained about the ads making the website unusable. The ads take over the entire page, making the website useless. Supposedly, you can create an account and get ad free. I would never do that now since it's the worse user experience I've encountered when it comes to reliability of functionality. Such a shame because when it works, it's my favorite site for checking weather. (See example in photo. I don't speak Spanish so if the ad is telling me how to close it without closing or refreshing the entire page, I would never know.)
I paid for a yearly subscription. The radar does not predict. It only goes from past to "now". I want future predictions and can't find a way to get that. Even free aps have future predictions.
I have for years plugged in zip codes of cities where I am planning to visit, but now WU thinks I might not get accurate information if I use a zip code out of my area? Are they delusional? I am deleting their address from my computer and my memory. Perhaps I shouldn't complain since I am using a free service, but sometimes even a free service is not worth its cost.
Been using this site for over 15 years. 3-10 forecasts are very inaccurate. It is obvious this site posts extreme 10 day forecasts to gain views in return for advertiser money
Weathered underground radar has shown the Same radar shot for weeks. It has rarely worked in the past 6 months.

The precipitation amounts are rarely even in the ballpark. Lately the temperature isn't even accurate. I spent money on the app and will not be renewing now that I see what garbage it is.
I can get a better forecast by looking out my window. It seems they are wrong more than they are right, at least at my location.
Their history section used to look a lot better and I thought they'd update it further but since 2014 they kept stagnating it then eventually all but removed it! Their history shows very little info now and their monthly totals are broken where most stations used to show data sometimes back to the 1930s!
This app and website get worse everyday. It seems a group on clueless middle school students are running the show there - if only something could put them out of their misery.
What is the matter with weather underground site. It is more not working than working. Every time I click on the prompt it does nothing at all. This is a terrible site to get weather Doppler or any other info. Concerning

Unfortunately there is no end in sight for bad service on weather Underground. They have now announced that they are discontinuing their webcam service. This is one of the few good remaining features from the original service. You could actually see freeways, streets or any type of weather activity in your area via a live view, using a network of volunteer cameras, instead of just relying on satellite or radar. It's a sad sad day for weather enthusiasts and for the people who rely on the service.
IBM now own this weather app and since they took over it has been getting worse. Now I can't even log in to the site which IBM (a computer company) own. Shocking. The call sign of my weather station keeps getting changed. The help service never responds. The app is getting inaccurate. The weather stations (all of them) are apparently now not reporting. What is going on with you guys. I can't believe that you want people to pay for data which they give to you for free. This is our data and you want to charge us for it? DREAM ON. I'm leaving you.
Information supplied is great, BUT, when 25% or more of your radar map is taken up with crappy ads, and full screen ads are thrown in your face, I bail immediately and have been using a different service. Used to be great but IBM has screwed up yet another useful service. And proof of service demanded to submit this? Really?
The most incorrect ap ever.The forecast highs are NEVER correct. Consistently run 5-8 degrees below the actual temperatures reached. It runs that way no matter what location I look at. It's 2021... forecasting is much better these days yet this WEATHER AP can't seem to get it right. The photo included shows the typical every day inability to correctly forecast the high temperature. Totally unreliable.
It was decent before hand, but now with 404 not found links, many re-directs to weather.com video snippets and longer than ever loading of 10day and hourly forecasts, basically its time to leave wunderground behind. Just get it over with and bury it. It had its day and IBM ruined it with ads, premium service etc.
I have quit using the website due to not being able to save preferences. Never try to contact anyone as usual no response. I think I may disconnect my weather station from Weather underground in protest. I wonder if it is IBM making the changes or Watson can't handle the data.
