Waze

Waze provides real-time navigation and traffic updates, helping me navigate efficiently and avoid delays during my daily commute. Whether I'm driving to work, running errands, or traveling to a new destination, Waze offers accurate and reliable directions based on real-time data from other users. I appreciate the crowd-sourced information on accidents, road closures, and police presence, as well as the ability to customize routes to avoid traffic. Waze has become my preferred navigation app for stress-free driving.

This navigation app used to be fantastic but in the past few years has gone downhill. It is now calculating the long way from point to point. It will automatically take take you through the toll routes despite the settings. I don't know who the company administration is in bed with, but they are costing you money and time. What a shame that something that started so well has gotten so bad.

Their "customer service" team are so rude. This is the response I got from them when I had a question about a route it suggested:

"LOL. Big crybaby can't read directions.
Read it and weep, here is the trace"

I will not be using this app anymore purely due to that encounter, I cannot believe a company would speak to someone like that?

I drove to Albany today from my home in Western Massachusetts. On the way home, I used the Waze app again and it estimated my drive time at 1:05 hours. About 45 minutes into my drive home, I find myself on a rural dead end road. I reset the app, as this was obviously very wrong, and the new drive time was an additional 1.5 hours! It literally took me back into Albany and then home. So my one hour drive ended up being almost 2.5 hours. This happened once before on the west coast. Now I'm deleting the app

This app is worthless. Today, after I got home, it would not shut down which has always been a problem. I was forced to reboot and reactivate my phone after Waze would not shut down. You have to hope the shut down button shows up. On top of that, this app sends you to places you should not be going and rarely provides alternate routes that are faster.
I finally got fed up with this app not shutting down and causing me too much anxiety. DO NOT USE THIS APP!

This piece of crap app needs to be drug out to the street and shot. I planned on going to see the Cubs game as an early birthday present.

First, this is horrible for anyone on foot. It constantly zigzagged the whole goddamn time using it. By the time I got to Wrigley Field the game was half way over and when I left the garbage app was just as bad for me trying to find my way back to the correct station.

I'd go on about the time waze literally had me going to hwy 460 when THERE WAS NO BRIDGE and the road was CLOSED. Apparently the glue eating bastards are incapable of updating their information. So screw this garbage company and it'll be a cold day in hell before I touch it again.

I have used waze while travelling from Tividale, Oldbury (Birmingham) to Nottingham - I took a quick nap while my wife driving the car, the followed Waze route, and took her thru Emission Zone and had to pay charges of £8.00 - I know it is a straight forward route from Oldbury to Nottingham thru M5, M42 and M1.
Completely untrustworthy app and I guess they are making money thru this way. I have deleted the App from my IPhone and won't use it anymore - Have also asked my friends/family to delete them and they too had similar experience.
