I've had many trimmers
over the years most of them rechargeable which aren't worth a crap. This one is corded which I like but when it claim to be a shaver I had to try it. The price is very fair. To test it I let my beard grow out for 3 days. I was amazingly surprised how close to shave was the blades are very very fine and gives a very good shape and it trends well. You can't go wrong with this item.
