I'm really tired after a work day so I just try to relax by many ways in order not to overload my organism. In the past, I entertained myself with various board games and they enjoyed me a lot. Nevertheless, I got rid of this habit and started to run my evenings as an ordinary person, in front of the TV, laying on the couch. However, everything has changed after I detected this service. The ancients range would have to be some of the best on the market, great transfers also. Use the bases and movement trays to mounted my collection of 28mm Napoleonic's, sorry not Victrix's. I play fantasy wargaming. Finding good quality shields for different armies is surprisingly difficult. Victrix has a great selection that fit my needs. Despite being on the opposite side of the world my orders have all been complete and timely. Plus customer service answered all my questions when I needed an out of print item. Thanks guys I highly reccomend this company. Plus the Greek minis are high quality also.
The products were great, but the site wasn't as clear as it should have been. For example, there was no indication of the shipping time and browsing the products was quite an annoying experience (way too many different transfers, mixed along the products I was looking for and it wasn't clear at all for which product the transfers were). The packaging was also not great. It arrived in a plastic bag, because of which some of the bits were already bent or broken before I unpacked it. The instructions of how to assemble the miniatures could also have been better. It's pretty much a listing of the parts, with sometimes a remark that it only goes with certain other parts. But the quality and details on the miniatures is amazing, so that's a huge plus and I'll definitly order from them again.
My order of figures and decals was delivered quickly and with no damage despite the journey from UK to Australia. One corner of the delivery packing box was crushed but this had not damaged any of the contents. I'm very happy with both the product and the services from Victrix.
More and more I like to work with plastic figures. Not that metal is bad, but plastic has more detail and the Victrix models can be put together in several ways. I. m. O. painting the plastic models is also easier then the metal ones anyway most of the time. Anyway I think I answered my question above.
I have purchased figures from this company for many years now and they just keep getting better. The quality of the figures have always been good and with the introduction of the Viking range they have improved dramatically in 2019.
Victrix sent me a package with the wrong value of freight, that resulted in much higher tax of the purchase (I'm in Brazil and under 50 usd we do not get taxed). I was very carefull to fullfil my purchase under the 50 dolars and then they sent me a box with a freight value 6 times higher than ir was in the order. At the end, I paied 4 times the value of of litle box of miniatures and they have not responded to my e-mails and messages. I don't think I'll order from them in the future for they are not helping me resolve the issue.
Fantastic miniatures, great scuplts, and piece per price. My order included a preorder and the company was very clear with delays in production and letting me me know when it would ship. Also shipment from UK to US was fairly quick.
