Ordered parts to fix a TurboCat vacuum head. Using the model info from the original box, I placed an order. Order was a ok as far as delivery, but the two of the three parts do not fit this model. I initiated an RMA and the parts were delivered to them two weeks ago (according to USPS tracking). Nothing from them and no response either via the RMA process or email to them.
Worst company I've ever dealt with. Misrepresented EVERYTHING! Especially return policy. When the product arrived a month late I tried to return. They said sure, this is the procedure but you have to pay shipping. Did exactly as I was told and they refused the delivery. Ended up costing me over $100 to UPS because they lied
I ordered a vacuum after checking in online chat about returns—even took a photo of the ask. After weeks I contacted ThinkVacuum for a tracking number. It was list, they reshipped but the second shipment was delayed so I was forced to purchase a vacuum from another store. When their finally arrived I contacted their customer service for the return. I followed their instructions and paid the $53 return shipping. They refused the delivery and th3 refund saying I had no proof. Would you pay $53 and go to the trouble of returning a product if the company told you they would not refund?
Ordered a new vacuum head in October '21, they said it would be delayed, no problem. When it wasn't coming they offered a different model for several hundred dollars more. I asked for a refund. Guess what? It has been nearly 3 months and even though I have called and emailed, nada. Don't trust these guys, Andrew F. The worker/messenger there hasn't been all that helpful either.
If you are researching Think Vacuums before making a purchase and have found this site, congratulations! You now have the opportunity to go elsewhere and save yourself the headache of wasting your money with this unreputable company. Look at the Better Business Bureau, the complaints, and their D+ rating. Look at the complaints on Facebook and Google. In my case, I spent over $1,000 on two sets of central vac attachment kits and both sets had defective parts in the first 90 days. Their response: "the part is not covered under warranty. Only 30 days. Sorry."
I have been searching for a specific vacuum bag for my Central Vacuuming System on my Sea Ray boat. I finally connected with "Think Vacuums" sales consultant, Kenny L. Who went out of his way in searching to find the right bag. He could have given up in the search but he was persistent, found it... and had it quickly shipped to my home. Great perseverance and outstanding customer service! George
A representative advised me to order a specific outer bag for my vacuum. Turns out it was the wrong part. They now say this is my fault and want a restocking fee and shipping costs to return. After telling me this the lady hung up on me. I won't be dealing with Think Vacuums anymore. I should have read the BBB reviews first, they're pretty telling.
We ordered a complete estate contractor kit with all the installation hardware. We decided to also upgrade to the "new and improved" $99.99 Vacaddy. The Vacaddy was for some reason not included in the original shipment. Fast forward to now 2 months, multiple calls, emails, and talking with them on the chat option of the website later and we still have not received a refund or the Vacaddy. So they basically stole $100 from us. Also you can have one delivered in 2 days from Amazon for $30 less.
I would not recommend this product. Purchased the central vac vacuum set and the quality is awful. I have had two vacuum heads and replaced the wand multiple times. The customer service rep I spoke to today was horrible. I will not order from them again.
So it started out with a phone call on the Sunday after Christmas and to our surprise Ken answered. He took the time to guide us through the various hose options and to insure it would work he had us email him pictures. On Monday we spoke and confirmed it will work. A little pricey but it offers a 5yr warranty verses 1-2yr warranties. He did a great job for us (given he's from NY - LOL)!
PS Our review on this product will be submitted once we receive it.
I ordered a Purvac Barracuda, supposedly one of the strongest units to run on 110V. The motor Spec shows 15 amps but the unit received motor plate says 12. X amps. There is no model and serial number on the unit but the motor specs match the Stingray model 2 levels down. I've tried 2 days to connect with these people. I had 1 voice message I returned twice but no return call or email. This unit is near as strong as my old. Sacammers.
Answer: The zamanager of customer service jumped in to help me after i made an error in my email address. He (Juan) had it fixed in no time and my order was in process
Answer: They carry the best as i was able to determine after a great deal of research. I was looking for quality at a reasonable price not a cheap unit. THere is always cheaper to be found but not cheaper and better
