Terrible Management
January 9, 2023

Teamwork property Management is unorganized and outdated. The manger we were assigned could not offer effective guidance, most of the time it was wrong or incomplete. Even when providing clear direction repairs were made in the wrong order covering up temporary plumbing repairs. We have expenses in the wrong categories every month this is simple accounting. I don't understand why as a so called professional the same errors keep happening. The struggling is real for some!

I wish to be Anonymous
I am a long time owner of a condo unit managed by Team Work Management, Abbotsford.
The worst and untrustworthy property management co in my opinion.
An older lady who works for the co. Has been known for controlling Contingency Reserve Funds, engages personal benefits by providing work to family. She has condoned her behaviour in mishandling funds on the past. Owners are to be vigilant and read your annual budgets.
This company knows how to scam owners's strata fees.
Why are so many negative reviews on this company not taken seriously by owners.
These complaints and reviews should be sent to the attention of BC Strata Council.
They should not be in Property Management Business.

I have used many project management systems in the past. Teamworkpm is my tool of choice and it has been so for 2 or 3 years. I like it because it's online, it has a mobile app, and they upgrade it really frequently. I requested a couple features and after a few months it was there. Easy to use, nice interface, almost everything you need including gantt charts, project assets and risks, etc. Really nice and much better than basecamp and the like in my view. I only regret that the timer feature is not so perfect but you can add a harvest timer.

Finally, the cost is not too high and I think there is a free version. I'm using a pro version and I never used all the storage of projects I am allowed. I can really recommend the product, at least give it a try.

What you can do:
- create clients
-create projects
- create tasks lists
- add messages
- add project resources
- set milestones
- give access at various levels to different users
- set privacy on some items (per person, per team etc)
- automatically send emails each time something is updated AND reply via email to automatically add the new comment to the queue
- foresee project's risks
- share files on the server or on DropBox or Google Drive

For me it's the unparalleled project software. The only one which could be as good is also an online project management tool called Intervals, but their interface suck, however they do have really nice features. But I chose teamworkPM and I don't regret it.

We have had Teamwork Property Management at our strata on Edward Street in Chilliwack for around 15 years.
For the past 10 years or so we have had Julie Bumby as our property manager.
I have served many of those years on strata and have found her experience and insight very helpful and her guidance much appreciated.
There is much to understand of the Strata Act and other items Strata councils have to be mindful of in operating their buildings. Julie would often help us to understand certain strata acts and responsibilities and also what would be a good practice to keep our building in top running order. If we had a question, she would be more than helpful and giving us options and an understanding as to how we should deal with the situation. We still had to make our decision based on information provided to us by our property manager.
Julie has been a hard worker for our building and has weathered a few misunderstandings and interactions between strata and our residents. We have greatly benefitted from her calm demeanour and vast knowledge of current issues and upcoming events.
Great job Julie!
