I've had Premium for several months. Log in the say way every time. Just press on the app button. Suddenly, they are still getting paid, but I'm back to the free version. Took over an hour to get it fixed and they owe me several days of service since they were paid and my plan changed to free when they were paid. They were rude when I demanded compensation or to add the days to the end of this months subscription. Always check your subscription in case they try to rip you off too.
They are CONSTANTLY accusing upcoming artists of fraudulent streaming which is why I pulled all of music off of there and will NEVER use them as a platform again.
Here's how it goes: Put your songs on spotify then sooner or later your songs start to get grayed out and are unplayable.
Ask spotify about that, they blame your distributor.
Yeah DUH your distributor removed them or greyed them out because SPOTIFY
Contacted them about bogus streaming by YOU.
So spotify fines your distributor who in turn passes the fines right onto you the artist
So there is really no way to get your music heard or to make any money.
And this is with no concrete proof.
It does not matter which source I use, when I use them or even if I use no source for plays at all.
I NEVER had any problems like this with any other platform.
You can google about this.
And NEVER EVER use any playlists.
Your song(s) get(s) captured and then put on a botted playlist and there you go.
Do what you want, just a GENUINE word to put out there.
Spotify has the best playlists made for you every day. I use Premium family, it's cheaper than other the other music apps. At the end of every year I excitedly wait for my Top of the year playlist and this idea is amazing!
Con: sometimes there are no songs by small artists, although I would really like all of my favorite music to be in one place.
This company is so bad in so many ways, especially customer service. I was originally signed up for a 3 month premium trial, which led to me cancelling the trial after 2 months and a half. However, the premium was still active for some reason and I was charged $11 for no reason. I reach out to them A DAY after my account was charged, and they tell me "give us screenshot of you cancelling the trial" or "since you never cancelled according to our records, we cannot provide refund". Which is stupid as I remember cancelling my trial so this is obviously not my fault. Nevertheless, I only used spotify less than 10 times the past 2 months and I reached out A DAY after this was charged, so for a big $#*! company to be acting this stubborn over a $11, I just know I will never be back. Youtube music is better you guys, with all the unreleased which spotify could never anyways.
Spotify for Artists has been an invaluable tool in helping me connect with my fans and grow my audience. The platform's user-friendly dashboard provides valuable insights into listener demographics, streaming trends, and playlist placements, allowing me to tailor my marketing efforts and reach new listeners. I appreciate Spotify's commitment to supporting independent artists, as seen in its artist-friendly features and promotional opportunities. Moreover, the ability to pitch unreleased music to Spotify's editorial team and access to Spotify's playlist submission tool have helped me gain exposure and increase my streams. With Spotify for Artists, I feel empowered to take control of my music career and reach new heights of success.
Spotify is my preferred music streaming service for its vast library and personalized recommendations. I love the curated playlists and the ability to discover new artists based on my listening habits. While the free version comes with ads, the premium subscription is worth it for uninterrupted listening and offline downloads. Spotify has become an essential part of my daily routine.
Really good premium plan! Get to listen to my favourites songs all the time and get great song suggestions! I have also recently noticed that my account is receiving a sudden follower increase? Anyone experiencing the same thing? I will get around 50 a day at the exact same time, midnight or 1am. But get to listen offline, love it!
Recently I discovered for past 14 mths I have been double charged on my account by 2 different payment cards. I changed my payment method online from Amex card to Visa. Now I'm being charged on BOTH! I contact Spotify & they still have not resolved, saying they cannot 'see' the double payment & directed me to card issuer who state that Spotify is responsible. Spotify do not offer help by phone, only online text messages. This is slow, clunky, cumbersome & after 'speaking' with now 5 agents STILL not resolved. Not good enough Spotify...this is grossly inadequate customer service.
Why are you guys trying to force people to choose premium? Stop with the cheap tack tick of forcing. First I liked Spotify because I could listen to songs the way I wanted to, now even for going back and choosing different song I have to get premium? You think we are so jobless?
If you have other options, stay clear of Spotify service. They sent me an email telling me that one of my playlists had been 'reported'. And without my permission they removed the name of that Playlist! Since that time I have been unable to play that playlist using Echo (Alexa) commands and numerous attempts to contact Spotify have been in vain. Customer service is ill equipped to answer questions, they are very dismissive and terminate the chat session without your ok, and sometimes they refer you to their e-mail support which never responds. I am aghast that they have such bad customer service.
Answer: I would try to just use another acunt, but if that does not work then idk how to help
Answer: Do you think I could get you to advertise mine? It was recorded at Sony Records in Nashville, TN.
