The site automatically populated an order that I did not want. There was not purchase review screen. I went to the cart and directly got a confirmation number. I hit the cancel button and it said that the time frame to cancel had expired- it had only been about 2 seconds and their site says 1 hour to cancel.
When I emailed them, they said they cannot cancel OR make any changes to the order, even though it was only minutes later. They said I can return it. Which will be impossible, b/c the order was made for an incorrect address... as I said there was no review screen, it just took my info from google or whatever (I don't even know b/c I never agree to save my info)
Anyway, they make it so their faulty site TAKES your money very quickly, and they have NO desire to help you with your order in any way even seem to care if you receive it.
I purchased the high Power Short two weeks ago. What a waste of money! Those Spanx rolled down my waist each time I wear them. $38.00 gone down the drain. How can I return this junk? Ladies, stop supporting businesses that waste our time and resources!
After reading all of the negative reviews along with the replies from Spanx saying that products could be easily returned within 90 days, I ordered two sizes with every intention of keeping the ones that fit best. What they DIDN'T say in those replies… that they charge $7.95 to make a return.
I order over $300 worth of clothes and told exchanges were hassle free but after they refunded me they said all products are sold out, here's a 15% discount for your troubles. Then refused to help or answer any additional questions.
Where have these been all my life?! Bought my first pair, flare jeans. Well made, fit beautifully. My only complaint is that they are very long if you want to wear flat shoes (I ordered regular) but thats an easy fix. Absolutely love them!
It's a fact that one really unhappy customer tells at least 10 other people when a company doesn't do what they said they were going to do. But… when someone purchases an item and it turns out to be a quality control issue, and the individual has paid shipping both ways even though they were told the return shipping would be free, it's not a good look for the company. I was given a "special" link by a Spanx Team Member for the free return shipping and was still charged. I have contacted them 4 times to no avail. That is my only experience with the company and will be the last. I have worked roughly 8 years for Talbots and let me tell you, that type of customer service would simply get you fired.
I've purchased roughly 1800$ worth of their stuff. While some are great (air essential jump suits) others like their leggings and dresses are hideous. The size is way off for the dresses. I order an XL in everything. The dress (perfect sheath dress) fits me around the chest but that's it. It's got a giant kangaroo type pouch/ excess materiel area going on under my chest just above my belly and it's not from fitting at all. The leggings fit but material is extremely itchy. The air essential tapered pant is way too short. The minimizer bra don't really minimize anything. Overall just very disappointed. Other than the air essentials jumpsuits the other haul was over priced items I'd never buy. I could return but at $15 a pop I'll suffer through it and the dress they won't let me return because it was on sale. Now I know why.
I bought a pair of slacks for about $148 with the welcome coupon. Ordered directly from Spanx for the longer inseam. A week later the price was cut in half. It took a long time to receive my order, consequently, the price had already changed before its arrival.
Spanx doesn't do price adjustments.
So I returned them within the 60-day time frame. Now Spanx is not processing the return of this unworn item, in the original garment bag, with the tags attached.
USPS records demonstrate the item arrived at the return center. It was sent in the original Spanx bag and with the Spanx label.
In my experience Spanx is not responsive to emails. My efforts to reach someone on the phone have not yielded results. Tough to anticipate ever buying from them again. It's hard to understand why this company's customer service would be either this poorly executed or off the charts sleazy.
I ordered the mens ultra sculpt t-shirt and boxer briefs. I paid for overnight shipping because I needed them for a suit fitting. (wedding officiant). They never arrived as per the overnight charge I paid. Customer service will not respond at all. Was lied to about the shipment date. I demanded a refund on the shipping and was ignored. I will be returning the products as SOON as they arrive with a note in them telling them to go F*** themselves. Id rather go through the strain of wearing a Colombian Faja or have a male corset made then deal with this crap. Seriously never again.
I will never buy anything else from this company. Customer serous honesty the worst I have ever encountered. Jeans are way too small. All attempts at returning them have been a dead in, even the " chat" option gets you no where. I have never seen anything like it. Most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with!
