Ordered some flyers from the company a week before I needed them, I paid extra for express delivery with the clear instruction to cancel my order if my deadline could not be met. They still went ahead with production the night before I needed the flyers knowing they could not arrive on time (and charged my credit card contrary to my instructions). They also did not meet the "express delivery" criteria and did not dispatch the same day... The flyers arrived when we were already gone to our exhibition and got send back by DPD. No answer to our complaint and request for refund, very poor communication before, during and after production. Would absolutely not recommend.

Absolutely shocking company. Paid for next day delivery as I needed some flyers rather urgently for a conference. Checked over the proof, absolutely fine, clear and legible. Upon receiving the flyers the next day, they were totally blurry, completely illegible and totally unusable.
I contacted customer service and explained the issue, I provided photos showing the shocking quality and was told I would not be issued a refund due to apparently a warning message coming up on my proof to state that the resolution was poor - funny considering the document was able to be scaled up to A0 size by another company, and the flyers of A5 size were perfectly printed by VistaPrint. Avoid this company, shocking service, shocking quality, and pointless unhelpful replies.
Solopress failed to deliver 1000 envelopes ordered. They failed to communicate why there was a delay, they failed to give correct information on where the order was (actually stuck in customs) they failed on follow up. I had to order another 1000 envelopes and take the additional cost. After chasing continuously I finally got a promise of 50% refund. This refund has never been received and again no communication. If you are looking for a reputable company to supply on time, I would suggest you use other businesses. There are plenty to choose from!
I was astounded to find that an order can't be cancelled no matter how quickly you try to do that -- under an hour in my case.
Also, the print quality is very variable -- it is cheap as chips and the print quality matches that I guess. If you want high quality printing, this is not the place to go. Colours that are the same throughout documents often print differently across different pages; frequently the print has roller marks etc. When challenged, they will often refund but that is a waste of the customer's time. So don't use if you're on a deadline.
For fast and cheap it is good; customer service -- poor.

Why did we choose Solopress, because they're quick. Don't believe it - missed the first delivery date, then missed it again. We had staff standing by in these Covid sensitive times to pack and post the catalogues but Solopress let us down twice. Cheap - kind of. Good service - no.
Where do I start?! Ordered 2 x name sets of their triple layer "luxury" business cards, everything about these cards is the complete opposite of luxury! Cards arrived 2 weeks ago, firstly they only printed and sent 1 name set but charged for 2. On to the quality, the design is very basic 2 colour with a solid black background, the black literally looks like mottled grey, the cards were also meant to be 85x55mm in size, they arrived 82x55mm which threw off the perfectly centred artwork completely. Very reluctantly I agreed to a re-print on the assurance from customer service that the cards would be personally checked by the quality control manager. Well, the re-printed cards arrived today, they managed to print both name sets this time but the quality has left me gobsmacked. The background looks even worse, cards are bending in several places and they literally look like they have been trimmed with a butter knife, I genuinely mean the edges of the cards are quite literally shredded! Not a single one of the now 150 cards is even close to passing as presentable, and this is apparently what their quality control is. I've been a long time customer of Solopress, but the last few orders with them the quality is completely non-existent, they've lost my business for good, i've spent over £400 with them this year and really regret it now, trust me go to a different company!
As an artist, I work with printing companies all the time. I can confidently say that SoloPress is the worst company I have ever worked with (or tried to, in my case).
I wish I could take back all the hours I wasted speaking to their customer service, trying to reach them to get my order done. It's been a nightmare.
I placed a large order for brochures on the 28th of August (spent almost 2k). A week later they still hadn't sent me the digital proof for approval. I sent countless emails and messages asking for the proof, they replied telling me to resubmit the files because they were "damaged". I did so promptly, days went by, I sent more emails asking for the proof, they asked me to resubmit the files AGAIN. I did so again, and never heard back.
I have a feeling they use the excuse of "damaged files" to buy some time, as none of the other printers I worked with had problems with the **exact same files**.
I was never informed of the issues directly, they only mentioned them after I had already spent days trying to reach them.
After a week, and no proof in sight, I asked for the order to be cancelled. They promised to send me a digital proof that afternoon, and a free printed proof in the post - so I decided to give them a last chance.
I should not have been so gullible.
After another 3 days, and no proof, I asked once again for my order to be cancelled.
They outrightly LIED and said the digital proof was sent, that **I approved it** (I never received it, and I most definitely never approved it), and that they were preparing the printed version.
I was absolutely speachless. It's one thing to be incompetent, but to LIE on top of that was just plainly disgusting.
I eventually got my refund, and placed an order with Mixam instead, which fulfilled my order in 3 days with no issues.
Ultimately, my advice is to save yourself a migraine and order from a more professional company.
One note of merit goes to Hannah, from their webchat. She was the only person that behaved gracefully and kindly, and given SoloPress' way of working I can imagine that she has to deal with a lot of angry customers on a daily basis, and that can't be easy.

Ordered 2 lots of stapled brochures, 2 different designs and both were printed visibly wonky, they arrived a day late on the Friday for an event starting on the Monday and running all week. They could only offer a reprint or refund after they had received them back. I have had faulty jobs before and on ALL 8 other occasions, most of which were faulty brochures, had been offered an immediate reprint and been advised to dispose of the faulty ones, perfect. If they had issued the reprint on the Friday when I raised the fault my customer would have only had to make do with faulty products for 1 day. This time around received a completely different level of customer service, staff just spiel out the same responses over and over again, and no option to speak to a manager. I now find myself in a situation of having no reprint or refund and has left both myself and my client out of pocket and has done untold damage to my reputation. If you are a reseller do yourself a favour and don't bother with using Solopress.com.
Staff members are rude, a lady start to raise her voice absolutely disgusting and have no manners or people skills. Everyone tell you different information when I requested my parcel I asked them to deliver at right address by updating by someone asking me to provide new address details over the phone. I did not deliver my parcel on. Sort out your staff members as the have no manners

Have been using Solopress for a couple of years now. I ordered some letter headed paper exactly the same as what I had ordered several times before. The new batch came and was just of awful quality. Sent a sample of the previous order and the new order not be told it was exactly the same quality to which is wasn't. Very, very unhappy customer
Ordered 150 wall calendars with solopress on the recommendation of a friend. Calendars arrived yesterday (Mon 8th) with order placed on Thur 3rd. SUPER FAST!
The quality is excellent - I cannot fault. I was a little skeptical given we could not price match this anywhere else (our bulk order comes in at around £1.50 per calendar!) but thoroughly recommend for their professionalism, quality & service and will use Solopress again without doubt.
I was advised to use the higher GSM option by my friend and to fully proof my own work (which Solopress recommend also). I used their online template to upload 12 photos + cover picture. Proof copy (pdf) via email was returned to me the same evening for approval and delivery was received promptly via dpd.
I used the online chat facility twice - once to ask if envelopes were included (not) and once to ask if I would recieve a proof copy. Both customer service admins were responsive, helpful and friendly.
My experience with Solopress has been an absolute pleasure. Worthy of an excellent review.

I've ordered two sets of flyers from Solopress and they have looked really good with very prompt service. Things didnt work out so well with business cards - looked fine on the proof on the website but when they arrived, the print size was much smaller than I anticipated - I will learn from experience and make sure the document I upload has the largest font possible next time.
