Waiting to see if everything is fine

Just quick and efficient replied pretty quickly looking forward to see the experience, getting bad reviews specially about sitejabber here hopefully my flight will happen and everything will go smoothly

I purchased and paid for (my card was charged) two round trip tickets to New Orleans for $240 total cost and never received my flight numbers or additional contact. Thank God I followed up. When I called, I was told the price was no longer available but that I could hold the reservation for what was now over $400. I declined and booked each individual leg with American airlines and spirit for a total of $300 for both tickets - not only did you not honor your sale, you tried to uncharged over a $100. Hate this company - dishonest and unprofessional with zero integrity.

They will not book what you ordered and will not inform you of the difference. When I tried to book online the payment didn't go through, they called up to tell me that the price had changed, and it would cost $26 more. Thinking nothing of a $26 increase, I said no problem and paid. Now, weeks later, as I'm trying to check in for the flight, I learn the over the phone tickets didn't include the cost of bags which I had originally selected.

Apparently, the "new rate" was actually $326 more than the original ticket price, considering I had already selected $300 more expensive tickets in order to pay for bags. No one told me this and apparently "only the phone reservation was valid" so I'm just out $300. It'll now cost me significantly more than if I had just booked direct.

Terrible company, do not use them.

I booked a flight more than a week prior and the company didn't book with the airline. Then a week and a half later they sent me an email saying call us we cancelled your reservation. Didn't even say anything about a refund or how to re-book. When I called they didn't listen or try to correct. They just kept saying call your bank.

Smooth process

I had a decent experience. A little bit surprised that the payment did not require any validation.
For some reason one of my first names appeared as the middle name of my daughter. I hope we won't have any issues when boarding.

Bait and switch travel booking site

Bait and switch scam travel site, tried buying two international business class air fares, quoted price was $*****. You just charged my card for $*****, even though I declined all extras. Then after completing the booking, I get an email, oh, those seats for that quoted fare is no longer available, it's even more, call us to sort out. Of course, if I do another search, you're still quoting that non-existent fare. Don't bother with them.

SmartFares attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

Not happy at all

No information about luggage. The price displayed online was consistent until the payment process. However, after receiving the payment confirmation, I was charged a higher amount than the one initially presented online. I chose your platform solely because it appeared to offer a cheaper price, but in the end, we ended up paying the same as the official Turkish Airlines website price. I have screenshots of all these discrepancies."

Terrible service
February 4, 2025

I had to back out from my return flight purchases that somehow still went through. I don't understand how my trip for the original flight got lost. Then for me to write to customer service email to be told the email is lost or can't be sent. Now I have to spend extra money a new ticket due to this 'service' just so my already purchased event tickets and fly back tickets don't go to waste!

I watched the online advertised price for a trip from Australia to Europe go up and down over a week, then purchased 4 tickets online using a credit card when the price was at a low. When the USA office opened (later that day in Australia) I was telephoned and told that the advertised price for the selected tickets could not be honoured, and that the 4 tickets would cost thousands of $ more. The representative sounded like he was doing his best, but in my opinion if a company advertises a "live" price online then it should be honoured without resorting to explanations of "price fluctuations". In the end I had to send screen shots of a higher price advertised later the same day, and pay this amount to secure the tickets, which (luckily) were still for us a better deal than any other offer advertised at the time.

Bait and Switch - Feels like a scam
March 9, 2025

The offered flight was initially confirmed. However, I was later informed there was a problem that would be resolved within an hour. About 24 hours later, I received a call informing the ticket was not available. I was offered a new ticket on the same flight at a higher price than if I booked directly with the airline (which I ultimately did). Employed high pressure sales tactics that appeared to be less than honest
