One more site that wants everyone to buy from Amazon and make money on Affiliate program. They use all data shared over internet and telling you to buy junk from Amazon. I am not sure that positive reviews are even genuine or were purchased to increase traffic to their web site. I am using personal block list program to add and never see this site on any of my searches.

Ok I'm now hungry after viewing seriouseats nice choice of content "diverse type of food and recipe choice" i think theres something for everyone there I'm kinda of a whole foods freak but i don't mind mixing it up once and a while, i thought the photography was pretty good photos for me are big so is spelling mistakes and consistent layout i don't mind looking for things but not a wild goose chase for something like t&c's terms and conditions which they bury sometimes in between about us and site map or under legal i like transparent sites not so full of corporate talk like the guardian it's a uk news paper which i'll be sure to write up about soon.

Serious Eats used to be a great resource, now it's a waste of time run by a handful of arrogant know nothings who dispense bad advice, promote garbage they've taken kickbacks to hawk. I think their trust fund lifestyles went to their heads, no one goes there any more.

SeriousEats is a good website which gives the users to know about the various kinds of food. And this is really an interesting website which will be useful for all the students in a better manner. And for me this was a best website that gave me best useful information in all aspects.

The content on this site is useful and well presented. But the webmaster stinks. I get error codes when I log on, and when I contacted support I was essentially flipped off. I was told that (paraphrasing) because I had more than one account on the site I would have to delete one account before I could log on. But I had more than one account because I was never able to log on with the first account. Idiots!

Fun site!
September 23, 2010

Fun site! I like the photo food blog the most. Unique idea where people take photos of food and then you just comment on it. Just makes me hungry looking at all of those photos. I don't think people realize what an art form it is to take photos of food, some people somehow make a career of just taking photos of yummy food

I just went to NYC and used this guide to find some great eateries. YELP SUCKS compared to this site. If you are living anywhere this site has guides and you want to find some great spots, use this guide and forget yelp or even zagat. Think cool hip spots with tasty food...

I've only recently been introduced to this site, but I really love it. Although mostly based in New York, I find the articles to be interesting, and many articles are very informative and not bound by state borders. I've heard rumors of them launching a San Francisco based seriouseats.com, but have yet to find it. For now, I will content myself with their San Francisco based contributor, so there are still Bay Area influenced articles. In general, most of their articles are quite interesting, and it's good to know what's going on with our East Coast counter-parts (although I think we're a bit more advanced in the food revolution here). Like many of these informational websites, it creates a lot of talk and opens a forum. What I like about this over other forum based websites, is that the initial article that is introduced is done by someone who's actually established in the food industry, and they often respond to comments made. Many other forum web-sites are driven by user content and can be littered with ignorant comments with no one to filter them, but possibly other ignorant people!

Not Serious

They have a recipe for iced tea that consists of: put some tea bags in water and wait for 5 hours. That's all you need to know. Is there a way to have google block results from them.

Honest reviews. Not just fancy restaurants, this blog covers pretty much any place where the good food lives. Great reviews of small vendors. All different ethnic neighborhoods.
