Bought a $2,600 mattress at Mattress 1 in Clearwater, Florida. Asked the salesman if we had to put up with the smell of new foam. He said no. Well, it's been a week and a half and we haven't been able to use our bedroom because of the mattress smell. Called the company. Was told the smell would last about two weeks! Hard to believe this company cannot treat its mattresses before they're sold. Of course, we were offer an exchange which would mean paying $75.00 for transportation and airing another mattress for who knows how long. Would have prefer to get my money back.
