You included an envoice for US$580 dollars and I have to pay high duty taxes in Dominican Republic. My purchase was for US$224.
Taxes is higher then this price!

The purchase process was easy and importantly, the sales team on the What's App chat were responsive and happy to answer questions that I asked about quality assurance and checking pieces before packing and shipment. This was reassuring. So I finalised the transaction.
Five working days, eights days in total the pieces landed in my door step in Melbourne Australia. 👍
Initially I was a tad worried. The cardboard packaging was dented from being dropped in transit and customs had inspected the package … sometimes that can point to broken or scratched pieces. I need not have worried. The pieces were perfect… and that knight … it's actually glorious - beautiful. Quaint but somehow regal on its stand … my concern in photos became a highlight when in my hand.
While one of the more expensive sets that I have purchased - it is wonderful and I'm stoked.

This set is beautiful and good for analysis. I can't see any imperfections. I'm just upset that I can't use my rewards on top of the offered discounts unlike in chessbazzar where you can use both. I hope they can offer both discounts so it may be more affordable for the consumers.

I searched the internet and free shipping sold me.
My pieces arrived a day earlier than scheduled, I was provided all tracking information and kept updated. Once I opened the box the pieces were beautiful. They look and feel great!

I had these items in my bookmarks for several years. Finally decided to give myself an Xmas gift. Couldn't be more pleased. Board and pieces are beautiful. Pieces have that heft that is comforting to the hand and a dull thud as you place them on the board...provides a tactile and auditory sensation along with the visual beauty. Ordering was easy, shipping was quick - really, I got these faster than some of my stateside purchases. Packing was excellent. Even better was the Holiday discount that made my purchase more affordable. All around just a great purchase.

This is my second purchase and wont be my last. The chessmen are amazing and look great on my analysis board. The hand carved pieces add such a beautiful accent that turns heads at the coffee shop. Thanks Royal Chess Mall for such excellently carved pieces.

The wooden chess pieces are more then what I expected. Great quality and I love the size, shape and style of them. Arrived quickly and packaged well.
The only thing I would like differently is if the felt bottom was a nicer quality. I may end up changing that myself.
But overall very happy.

After looking through all the staunton sets. I kept coming back to this one. The preportions are just perfect. The detail is so crisp. Each piece is weighted perfectly. Craftsmanship of the highest quality. I bought these knowing they won't fit on the board I just made. I'll just have to make another the squares are 45mm and 7mm thick. Need to make a board 55mm or 60mm squares. I'll treasure this set forever. It's the best set in my collection.

I really like the improved French lardy made by RCM. Have bought the Chavet, Durbvnik and their Prestige chess set but this one is my favourite.
They got the proportions bang on. A very accurate reproduction indeed.
The walnut staining looks stunning. Highly pleased with the outcome.
