Just made my first online order because you never know if the particular goal stick you want will be in stock anywhere. They had the exact model I was after at a great price and shipping was free. The stick was well packed, arrived in perfect condition and much faster than expected. A perfect experience! I highly recommend Pro Hockey Life. Do go into the retail stores as well. They're amazingly well stocked and the staff are great.
Update after several purchases: these guys have excellent sales and great, accurate shipping! Fantastic site. 5/5
Pro hockey life is owned by Canadian Tire. At a British Columbia Canadian Tire location a customer who refuse to wear a mask was reported by the staff to police and brutally assaulted in the store. The video can be found on YouTube. If you appreciate freedom then do not support this business
I purchased an expensive goalie bag ($356) and a couple of lace tighteners. When I got home I noticed a charge of $85 was added and charged on my bill. I called to report the error and the clerk seemed very nonchalant about the issue, almost as though he knew it was done on purpose.
When I returned to the store to receive my refund the assist manager "Liam" was deadpan...
I felt obliged to tell him that it was common courtesy to offer an apology when an error like this occurs. I didn't get the feeling he could give a damn about my advice.
Theirs an atmosphere of "slimy used car sales practices" blossoming amongst the staff... BEWARE! Caveat Emptor!
I thought I was ordering for in-store pick-up, even though I selected in the website, but I was somehow redirected to delivery after the payment options page. The delivery address, which I could not input, was automatically taken from Paypal account. This was my billing address for PayPal but was somehow entered as my delivery address for this product.
My son had an issue w equipment that was clearly a manufacturer defect.
I contacted customer service and supported w details clearly showing the issue.
They did not offer any assistance at all.
Bought my son $200 hockey pants 5 days ago at Pro Hockey Life on 130th in Calgary. He wore them once. He noticed that something was off at practice. After he got home, we noticed that at the seams on the inside, it was all riped and that the padding that is suppose to protect the front of his leg had now moved to the back. Drove to the store (which is 45 min drive from my house) to get there and get told by the manager that they were not giving refunds. They can only exchange with the exact same product. Off course, they didn't have the same pants in the store so they said that they would have to order from elsewhere but since they were "too busy", we would have to wait another 20min to get served. WOW! Thanks a lot. I really felt appreciate as a customer and I could tell you really wanted my business
(sarcasms). Definetly won't be buying there ever again.
Great selection and prices. The person I spoke to on the live chat knew his products and was able to answer all my questions.
Shipping took 5 business days.
I ordered a birthday gift online at Prohockeylife.com, it was during an online sale. Their shipping policy stated Pro Hockey Life orders take 24 to 48 hours to process and ship (business days) so I felt comfortable it would be delivered on time. Unfortunately this was not the case, they did not honor that policy and the birthday has since past. I emailed customer service numerous times about this and got no response. I called customer service and remained on hold over an hour waiting for a representative. I then contacted them again before closing and finally spoke to a representative who assured me my order would be processed soon. I am still waiting and they have since changed their shipping policy to Pro Hockey Life orders take 5-7 business days to process and ship. Regardless of this, I am not happy and if this is how this company treats customers I will shop elsewhere. It is truly appalling and ridiculous how this company, its affiliated companies, fglsports.com and the Canadian Tire Corporation does business.
I placed an order for the Super Deker on line first week of April. All was great, following day received an email stating your order is shipping with a tracking number. That's were the fun began. I tracked my order 2 days later to find out that it was still in the warehouse and has yet to be picked up. I called and was told Purolator was too busy to pick up. Sent a few emails with no response so a week later I called and spoke to someone that was polite and advised me he would reach out to management and someone would get back to me. A week later still no return call. Called again and spoke with a very RUDE representative telling me he can't do anything and wouldn't allow me to cancel my order. I have since gone to social media reaching out to them via Messenger and they read my messages but no one responds. I have no idea why they are unwilling to respond or even give me an update to my order. At this point it's complete neglect on their part and I want my money back. Suggestions on next step?
