The reason why I'm not giving a 1 is because it still has some awesome stuff, but it used to be awesome because there was some backyardigans stuff on it and other old shows. The backyardigans was my favorite preschool show as a preschooler and it still is as an 18 year old.
Online preschool games and activities, movies, family life. Dora, Diego, The fresh beat band, kai-lan, team umizoomi... My wife and our child love it.

I am writing, because I am very concerned parent and I'm also infuriated about content on Nick Junior that I observed, and that has been affecting my three-year-old daughter and her mental health. The content I am speaking about is the five minute long, black sunshine commercial. That broadcasts daily, I cannot imagine the kind of out-lash that would occur, I'm sure if you were to broadcast I'm your white sunshine or Asian sunshine or any other race sunshine, so why is black sunshine OK? Not only does this commercial exclude any other race, but it has also directly impacted my child's mental health and well-being. Every morning she apologizes to me that she is not a black sunshine, I demand this commercial be taken down immediately. The content Nickelodeon Junior is promoting in this commercial alone Has left my poor three-year-old daughter feeling so inadequate about herself that she feels the need to apologize to me on a daily basis that she is not a black sunshine and every morning she asks me why is she not a black sunshine? I expect immediate action to be taken place in regards to this matter before I have to escalate this even further. I expect this commercial to be discontinued immediately along with an apology broadcasted to all the other races that were excluded from Nickelodeon juniors nasty racism. And I expect my daughter to be compensated, for all the trauma and mental abuse that Nickelodeon junior has inflicted onto her poor little heart. Nothing is more devastating than to have to sit and try and explain to my three-year-old that she is a sunshine and she is enough and it doesn't matter what color she is and all because Nickelodeon junior thought it was a good idea to play a 10 minute commercial repeating daily saying I'm a black sunshine shine, shine my black sunshine. I will be taking this to every branch of the Internet and I expect my daughter is compensated accordingly or I will have to take matters into my own hands. Looking forward to see how Nickelodeon Junior plans on dealing with this massive travesty they have brought into my life, and for all of the emotional turmoil, they have inflicted on my poor three year-old daughter
Sincerely,
Enraged Parent.
