NASCAR has forgotten the fans. Watching NASCAR is like slot car racing! NASCAR has proven they have no intention of changing. I am one of the long time fans who could watch a race over the air, attend a race of production cars, drivers that drove a real car, enjoyed a real race with no stages!
If drivers had the same drive as Bill France did, they would start a new, better racing because of their insite. All cars and tracks take SAFETY first, but let Race divers be just that! It's sad to say but those idiots controlling nascar will fail, and it's coming sooner than later. I enjoyed being a small part of it in the 70's and it was a racers dream as well as fan's. BOYCOTT NASCAR AND BRING IT DOWN! YOU now pay to watch an American sport. Do you think football or basketball will ever make you pay to watch? BRING NASCAR TO IT'S DEMISE. NUFF SAID. Boogidy, boogidy, boogidy. Build us a new racing series, and it will PROSPER..

My sons and I were big Nascar fans, but the way they are handling the dispute with MJ, we will not longer be fans. Nascar leadership is greedy and disgusts me.

Kevin Harvick is a terrible announcer! Please get rid of him! His opinions and the way he treats Clint Boyer makes the race hard to watch!

Family run monopoly
March 4, 2024

NASCAR was supposed to be models of cars everyday consumers could buy. Now they're all the same car with different nose and tail. Why put manufacturers names on them?
Then certain rich individuals buy teams that average buyers can't compete with. You get the same winners every week that rich guys own. Why not have separate leagues that are based on team net worth.
I have watched NASCAR races since 1962 and now it is so boring watching the same winners and losers every week.
I'm done you can keep this sham of a competition. The France family has done a poor job of giving a fair Unbiased racing series.
Keep it.

It's a shame that the people running oh i mean ruining the sport car racing Nascar should all quit there job because they are a big reason why this sport is slowly but surely going away. When sports are trying to be #1 by changing formats and rules. When they went to the playoffs i thought i was watching football which i cant stand.the only sports worth watching that are so real is the Olympics and track and field.real athletes. It's getting to be where racing is no longer a sport but some talent show contest. RIP

DONE!
October 2, 2023

I am 52 years old and have been a fan for nearly my whole life. When I was little I pulled for Richard Petty because that's who my Mom and Dad pulled for. In the mid 80's I became a diehard Earnhardt fan. That tragic day in February 2001 took a lot out of the sport and me. Thankfully, Kevin Harvick came along and I became a huge fan. It was awesome watching Harvick improve and mature throughout the years. He went from winning a few races here and there to winning a championship in 2014. Harvick was always improving as a driver and a person.
Unfortunately, NASCAR has not improved. Politics have played a major part in the demise of this once great sport. There are too many road courses and now a street race! NASCAR was not built on these types of races. If a driver/team wants to run these types of races, then go race F-1.
Much like today's society, NASCAR is trying too hard to appease with diversity initiatives instead of appealing to its core fanbase.
NASCAR shows too much favoritism to certain teams and certain manufacturers. It's all about the money!
As a result, I will be retiring from NASCAR with Kevin Harvick. When the 4 car crosses the finish line at Phoenix, I too will cross the finish line for the final time.
Thank you Petty, Earnhardt, and Harvick for all the wonderful memories!
To the current executives and decision makers at Nascar, you have destroyed one of the all time greatest sports!

Racing
August 31, 2023

Worst season ever and have been watching since the 70s. Racing should be about who can build the best car not trying to make everyone equal. Seems nascar caters to who ever cries the most nowadays, feed up and will no longer watch anymore. If nascar dries up and blows away, would not be a loss. No wonder ratings have declined since 2010. Nascar you really stink.

Boring
August 3, 2023

Races today are boring to watch. I record it and then fast forward to see who pulled the short straw to bring out a caution in the final laps to try and make a boring race interesting. The folks at Nascar need to go back to the points system back in the Winston Cup days. Nascar need to get a whole new team of tv personalities that actually have good commentary skills. If nothing changes the continuing decline in supporters will make Nascar a memory.

I've been a fan since 1983. I can't remember how many races I've attended. I went to the 600 this year and will attend Nashville. The issues are way to numerous to discuss but ultimately they have lost integrity. Lying is the norm. Sold out means they buy the bulk of the tickets. The stands are empty. Bubba Wallace is the victim and poster child to another increasingly anti freedom corporation. Noose my $#*!! A garage door cord made headlines? This is the kind of bull$#*! they focus on. This is now the rich kid racing league and real men are kicked out when they say something negative. Sponsors are given value while real people are treated like cattle. There is a continuous stream of virtue signaling and pretence of success. The racing is now bland and boring. Sure, they go fast but there is little for the average person to relate. Nothing real anymore! Just a contrived entertainment company. Racing is entertainment but NASCAR is no longer racing!

Between Bud light controversy and Miller lite woke commercial. Reminder of Nascar's Bubba Wallace issue with a piece of rope used to pull a roll-up door on a truck. I can't believe the Petty's even considered going along with such lying BS. Along with the lying Chicago black man that accused 3 white men of jumping on him. Which turned out to be a lie. Destroying the 3 accused lives over a lie! But the lying news media never mentioned it was a hoax...
In the 1970s thru the 90s I and many others traveled from North Carolina to Daytona, Rockingham, Bristol, North Wilks, Martinsville etc... Spent every May and October at Charlotte. Then Dale senior died as we all know in race at Daytona. That's when Nascar begin to change and neglected to remember who had brought them to the dance. Closing race tracks changing and reaching out to different type of fan base. Taking down Confederate flags or anything associated with the souths history. Changing the format of racing forever and forgetting those of us who supported racing since the very first race. I and many of others haven't watched a race in years. At one time I could tell you every name of all the drivers. And most of the truck racing drivers, not no more. I've never understood why people with money think their ways and change is the right way. And along with changing means forgetting many things and people by doing so. Between idiots taking a knee in the NFL Nascar's rope issue and format change. The best of the good life got destroyed over ignorance and overpaid players. And rich idiots taking over racing! The late Merrell Haggard put it best: Like a snowball headed for hell... But in the case of NFL and Nascar- they walked off and left their oldest dance partner standing on the floor. Thanks for nothing!

It is very sad but true Nascar has gone off the track. Its repetitive and redundant to a fault, cars have been emasculated, and it has become a major bore. My favorite night race wad Bristol and I loved the bright colors of the cars and the whole place sparkled. What did NASCAR do? Put down dirt and just really ruin the entire event. Way not to go Nascar, you are now a cartoon of yourself. Oh, by the way, if you want to race on a dirt track, take it to the next town 20 miles down the road from Bristol, they probably have one.

I truly enjoyed the NASCAR race on Easter but I found it rather upsetting that nobody even mentioned Jesus for God or anything about today at the end of the race things are looking rather bleak and I am confused why NASCAR apparently will not stand up for the American heritage and religion that we were born under! FYI I have watched every race since Jeff Gordon's career started and things were far different back then people used to thank God when it was not Easter! I truly hope NASCAR is not going woke and participating in the destruction and annihilation of America and family as well as God like the NFL in the NBA God bless America NASCAR please stand up to this ridiculous situation we find ourselves in!

Ross Chastain
April 3, 2023

This is about Ross Chastain. I can't believe how negative the announcers speak of him. There are only two announcers that have had a positive comment about him. One is Kurt Busch and the other is Danica Patrick. This guy is talented and he will be a champion some day
