MyPoints used to have a very user-friendly method to "earn money" for providing opinions about various products. Then without warning, the method of redemption was changed to REQUIREMENT TO USE A SPECIFIC BRAND-TYPE OF CELL PHONE to obtain a "VERIFICATION CODE". This code then MUST BE ENTERED IN TO THE MyPOINTS PROGRAM REDEMPTION SCREEN to release ANY money or ANY OTHER REWARDS that was "earned" by the Survey-Taker. NOT EVEN EMAIL VERIFICATION LIKE SO MANY OTHER PROGRAMS USE WITHOUT PROLEMS! So much for having a "fun side gig" that provided a little extra money to be able to use for something fun that a person might not normally buy. THE POINT -- MyPOINTS NOW EXPECTS PEOPLE TO PROVIDE OPINIONS FOR FREE, AND THOSE WHO EXPECTED SOME TYPE OF MONETARY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THEIR EFFORTS ARE BEING BLOCKED. Only if you own a cell phone that appears to have affiliation with AT&T (some users have posted inability to access the "verification code" site via other brands of cell phones).
I redeemed ***** points on 12.04.2024, it has been 2 mos no ual miles received. No response from my 20 messages. If you have efficient solution, please advise
Mypoints has gotten worse and worse. It's gotten so they rarely credit tickets anymore. They let them sit for weeks or even a month and then close them and tell you that you can submit it again if you want. Their surveys constantly give errors, and when you do complete one, it rarely credits. Then good luck getting your points by submitting a ticket. They only allow you to submit one ticket at a time. You have to wait til they credit or close that one until you can submit another one. If you submit more than one ticket at a time, they'll close them all without crediting them. It takes hours to earn a few cents at their website. There was a time when this site was worth the time you spent on it, but not anymore. It's way more trouble than it's worth. It pretty much zaps the life out of you now. The folks they have reading the tickets seem to have very little language comprehension. They owe me well over 10,000 points and I will never see them. It's not worth it, folks.
They dupe people out of crediting their account for surveys taken. They take too long to resolve survey tickets and gripes. They falsely close ticket without actually resolving them. When you show concrete evidence of prejudice disqualification surveys and technical difficulties accessing a survey, Mypoints refuses to credit. It gets worse when you complain the Better Business Bureau. You're a mark from then on.
Complete offers. Send then 6 pictures proof. They don't care, ask to speak with supervisor not even an attempt to fix it This is how you lose customers and eventually won't exist anymore
I've had to seek out and argue about points numerous times. Some go thru no problem. When they don't go thru immediately. Good luck. Customer care is a joke
Loved it years ago but the last few years the desktop extension is getting us no points and you can't get any customer service. Tried to use their form but can't ask a "General" question without giving all info for one activity and could not find a way to upload a "JPG" of my receipt so got nowhere. There are several good rebate programs without the MyPoints hassle. We'll probably delete the extension & not bother any more.
It's become harder and harder to score points, especially when the links in their e-mail redirects you to the MyPoints site instead of the vendor. They don't bother to respond to questions, either. I've activated MyPoints for some purchases only to never receive confirmation/points. Swagbucks messed them up royally, so much so that I find myself using Rakuten more than MyPoints.
Been trying to contact customer service bc my gift cards are showing invalid. Gave all my personal information and got nothing for it! Also Amazon cards only work on amazon produced products. So most products aren't eligible for the gift card anyway.
I have been a member for years. Now that I want to redeem my points I can't. It tells me it has to verify my identity and asks for my phone number. I enter it and it tells me it is in use by another member even though my profile has my correct number. I have filled out several on line tickets for help but only get canned email responses and no resolution. I'm done. They can have the points and my in box will get cleaned up.
The magic receipts section of this site doesn't work well. Just this week I have had 4 receipts refused even though I had purchased the items needed. Example: strawberries my receipt showed 3 packs of fresh strawberries the site denied this receipt. Fetch works quicker for uploading than my points I am frustrated.
Answer: You RUN! RUN FOR THE HILLS! Close your account and RUN! And then, file a complaint with the BBB. They are now under the parent company "Prodege" which is also SwagBucks. Both are horribly run companies now!
Answer: They did the same thing to me last week and I had around 9630 points. I was trying to reach 10000. They knocked it down and said that I purchased 2 Amazon gift cards, which was a flat out lie. I cant stand amazon for certain reasons. I have proof and witnesses to everything that has happened with mypoints. I have contacted them through email and have received answers back. They have not followed through yet as they said. If this goes on with no satisfaction I will take legal action. I will also hope that others join me. That is not necessary but I will give others the option at their own discretion. False and misleading information may only be a misdemeanor but we deserve what we work for!
