'We'll take care of it', said Margo as we hung up the phone to end our initial conversation about Mom's move. Following through with commitments and exceeding expectations is what every business should strive for. Few achieve it. THANK YOU to Margo for fulfilling her promise - an outstanding job. Dawn connected with Mom immediately to arrange supplies to be dropped off to assist in the overwhleming process of packing. The exact amount of supplies! Which amazed me! This really was two moves in one - a drop off to Mom's new apartment and a drop off to my house for the unloading of more than half of her furniture. The movers had a great and organized system. Niko, Rob and Tony were efficient, careful, communicative, personable, timely, and most importantly, Mom was immediately able to trust them with her most meaningful and memorable collections. I knew when I left Mom's apartment that the following morning upon waking, when she opened her bedroom door, she would walk out feeling like HOME. It all started with a phonecall, an ear, helping hands, generosity, love and support, and an expert that had been there. THANK YOU Margo and crew.
I used this company recently to move me into a seniors building. They sent a moving specialist to help me downsize the first time. Then she announced she couldn't come the day of the move and that another person, who I think was a junior packed, would be managing the move. When the moving truck showed up, there were construction people at the entrance to the lane way behind my building. They told the movers not to enter, because they wre going to be blocking the lane way for hours. They had a city permit to do their work. The movers thought that they could come in, do the move in one hour and then leave. Of course, that did not happen. It took them much longer than one hour, and then they were blocked from leaving. The sat in the truck for three hours until they could get out. At first, the moving company tried to charge me, but after I left a scathing review on BBB they relented and credited me for the three hours. I wanted to stay for the move, but I was ordered to leave. As a result, a piece of furniture was not moved and many bottle of alcohol went missing. It cost me twice as much as a regular moving company, and they did not treat me very lovingly.
Answer: I believe it is a legit company, but they did not act ethically. I was supposed to h ave a moving specialist. Instead I had a junior packer managing the move.
Answer: There is no customre service, per se. I just emailed or called and left a message. They did answer eventually.
Answer: I thought they would ease the stress of moving for me. I was wrong. It was more stressful.
