What’s a legal subscription service?
Instead of paying a lawyer an expensive hourly rate, you pay a small monthly (or annual) fee and get access to a law firm that can provide consultation to you on a wide variety of personal legal issues at a reduced cost.

Coverage
Get access to: advice on an unlimited number of personal legal issues, letters or phone calls made on your behalf, contract and document review, and more (review your plan for terms, coverage, amounts, conditions, eligibility, limitations, and exclusions).
How much does LegalShield cost?
Most day-to-day personal legal issues are covered by your personal legal membership (starting at just $26.95/month). If your issue isn’t fully covered or specifically excluded by your plan, your law firm can help you at a discount from their usual standard hourly rate.
Legal emergencies
We’re available 24/7 at 1-877-825-3797 for covered personal legal emergencies, like arrests or detainments, serious car accident injuries, a child welfare agent is attempting to take your children, or if you’re served with a warrant. You can also log in to our mobile app and select “Call Emergency Line.”
What’s LegalShield’s cancellation policy?
You can cancel at the end of your eligibility period any time in writing at support@legalshieldcorp.com. For annual memberships, you can cancel any time after your first 12 months. If you’d like to learn more about the benefits of maintaining your membership and any accumulated benefits, call 1-844-714-8494 between 7 a.m-7 p.m. CST Monday-Friday.

I needed help in collecting a debt. I contacted LegalShield and someone called me back within 3 hours. I gave the contact person the information and they sent a letter to the person that was not paying the debt. As of today, the debt was paid shortly after a letter was sent on my behalf.
