It is a shame that a once reputable company has now become a joke. In the past (a decade ago) if you had a problem with a purchase, or you just needed some technical advice, a helpful person answered their phone. Do yourself a favor and find another company to purchase your clock making parts from. The Chat is non-responsive as is their email. I wonder when I contest my charge for my latest purchase with American Express if I might hear from their customer service department? My automated response to my email was "Your ticket number is ******"

Please be advised, I have been trying to do business with this company all year. I have given up. The last customer service representative basically told me that I had to make my clocks to fit their specs, because they don't make anything close to what I needed. When I asked who makes a clock less than a 1/4 inch thickness, her response was " obviously every one but you."
In all fairness they made one clock that did fit, but it had a shaft that stuck out 1/2 inch from the face and looked terrible. Their only comment was " well that's all we make for a clock that's that thick." I make my clocks from blown glass, and really 1/4 inch is a thin as I feel safe to make...
LOOK somewhere else, they may be the worlds largest, but what they carry is the worlds smallest variety.

When I was teaching woodshop

In the 1990's, and early 2000; s I was teaching woodworking at a high school in California, I bought lots of things from Klockit. There prices were great, and their service was great. Fast forward to 2022, I am now retired, I bought a plan and kit for a wall clock. Too the tune of $350, It looked good, however I found several things wrong with the plans. When I called them, I got the run around. It seems all of their reps are retired or laid off. So no one really knows what is going on. In looking at the plans I have, I was able to modify the plans to make things work. I was only to do this because of my prior woodworking experience. Most people without woodworking experience will have trouble with their plans. I am not trying to knock them too much, so I will say their prices for electric and mechanical movements are GOOD.

Ordered a quartz movement for a novelty clock in accordance with ordering instructions. I measured the dial thickness of 5/8 inch. I therefore ordered a clock movement for a 5/8 inch dial thickness. Received movement, it had a threaded shaft length of 5/8 inch leaving no threaded shaft left to attach the movement to the clock. Meaning the movement sent was NOT for a 5/8 dial thickness. Return policy: I return it at my cost and they refund the part cost excluding and shipping handling. Good business model, for them. Return cost same as keeping. After 10 years as a customer, "I Will Not Use Again".

I ordered a small, quartz clock movement that turn out to be defective. It does not work. I sent and email a week ago, but have not received a reply. I called them a few days ago and left my phone number (as their system allows one to do), and have not received a call back. I expect to have to go elsewhere to buy another movement. These folks appear to have no interest in taking care of their customers.

Update: On Dec. 28th, 25 days after I emailed them, a customer service rep. Replied. I avoided yelling at them, requested a replacement movement and they sent it. However, my original review still stands. 25 days in the queue is the worst I have ever experienced. As long as I had not already bought another movement elsewhere, I took theirs. However, I would never go back. There are other companies in this business.

On a recent Sunday night, I ordered 3 clock faces online. The order cost and shipping was calculated and confirmed. A few hrs. After, I realized I should have added hands to go with the clock faces. I didn't want to pay another $8 in shipping so I called Monday morning 15 minutes after they opened. I explained the above and was told the order "was packaged and about to be put on the truck". This was 15 minutes after they opened! I said Ok just cancel the order. They said "No. We can't do that. You can refuse to accept the package but you'll have to pay the shipping cost." I've never encountered a company that will not cancel an order within the first 15 minutes of their work day. I will be dealing with Ronnel from now on.

I purchased an expensive grandfather movement from Klockit which was defective. Rather than replacing it they told me to send it to the manufacturer to have it repaired! Are you kidding? When they agreed to exchange it they refused to send the replacement for three weeks explaining that they had to check the returned one. Then they sent the wrong weights for the shells and when I returned them they sent the same ones back. Then they confused the movement I purchased with a different one that was not compatible with the face and pendulum. Contacting them was a nightmare of waiting on the phone, twice for as long as a half hour. I have never worked with a company as irresponsible, and I will never recommend or work with them again. Buyer beware! I will give them one star but would give them NO stars if I could.
