Be Careful when you purchase from JTV. The camera angles are deceptive. Often times I have returned items because they were much smaller stones than shown on TV. Also, be careful because JTV is really pushing BRASS over sterling silver, not a good choice. Finally, be advised that Tim Mathew's does not respond to your reviews. Though is the President, he is concerned with "His" bottom line. Also be aware, JTV wants to keep the look…lily white. Diversity does not exist now or in the foreseeable future.
To begin, I have been a customer with JTV for more than 25 years. Here of late, I have returned many items as have so many of their customers. The pre-owned pieces account for pages and pages of jewelry in all sizes. A friend of mine told me about "Wish." I was curious and visited the website. To my surprise, I found several pieces that looked exactly like the pieces on JTV for pennies on the dollar. I ordered two rings and they are rhodium over just like JTV. Now one might say but what about the JTV warranty, well paying significantly less for the same piece, if it goes bad I can afford to order it six times over before hitting the JTV price. JTV is no longer my go to. I have slowed purchasing new items, only pre-owned. I ordered BJN601 (Order number 187178205) in a size 5 but needed a 7. JTV could not size it. I took it to my local jeweler and not only had it sized but they warranty their work. I am sure that Tim Matthews will give a response just like in every other review. But here's a thought Tim, why not contact me yourself. JTV needs to plug into their customers. Tim, I would be so willing to have a real conversation about how to improve JTV but, I am quite sure that you are really not seeking to improve JTV because it doesn't personally affect you or your bottom line.
JTV has the merchandise, let's start there. I used to look forward to the Bella Shows, Charles Winston Bella and Moissanite Shows. Here of late, the shows have become stale. All of the female hosts are blonde hair and blue eyes. Even the new hires are blonde hair and blues eyes. The merchandise is looking like that I can order from Wish for pennies on the dollar. But I did find out that with Jewel Safe, which I strongly suggest for every piece, you can order the pre-owned pieces for less money, have them sized to your size, and even return them (if you don't size them), just as you would paying the high prices. Oh, and don't bother writing the CEO or his VPs, you will receive the standard response just as on this site. The shows are now just a joke. The Brilliant Cash given to "New" folk is great but, I have been a customer for more than 20 years and have their JTV Preferred Card and can't seem to periodically get Brillant Cash. I wish JTV would go back to the customer experience provided when customer service seemed to be important. Can we also get hosts that represent JTV Customer Base? Now I will await the standard cut and paste Tim Matthews response to this review.
I have been watching many different site of shopping networks but JTV some hosts are bad how the way they talk in front of millions people the way they represent themselves on live tv I noticed some hosts said shenanigan, what the heck & I don't care what you wear I thought that very unprofessional when you are talking on live tv you have to watch what you are saying & be respectful just watch some previous show this week
Screen suddenly freezing after it was working. Support agents seem to be at the pub while providing support. Long gaps between answers, don't have answers or guidance that works. Useless... Don't bother purchasing.
Everytime I buy something expensive the next day I get a coupon and it's to late to use because I don't see it until after the fact This is not fair at all I'm gonna really cut my loses and not shop here anymore it keeps happening

Everything is falsely advertised. Nothing came as pictured. Sizes different. Customer service is worst ever. They shipped tanzanite bracelet in a plastic baggie with no protection at all. Comes smashed up. Have repeatedly sent emails to the president of jtv and he has never replied. Customer service is a joke.
They asked me to go buy a protection envelope with bubble wrap to send the package back so it didn't get damaged.
I had already told them it came damaged and I wasn't buying Nothing as it was their fault for not having a bubble wrap package when they sent it.
And everything I ordered was on sale the next day or so.
Also they billed me 25.00 plus tax extra money than it was advertised for. Had a 25.00 email saying it was 25.00 off. Used it but they charged me the 25.00 plus tax and wouldn't do anything about it.
DON'T BUY FROM JTV. THEY WILL CHEAT YOU.

Host's falsely and deceptively advertise.
Not 3mm is 2mm. Not 20" it's 191/2". Host's say it won't be any cheaper,NEXT DAY IT'S 20.00 LESS.ITS 40.00 LESS IN A WEEK AFTER BUYING. Host's repeatedly say a cross price is 99.00 then change it to 139.00 right on TV. NO REPLIES TO EMAIL'S EVER COME. Contests rigged and they don't answer if they are getting my daily entries or not. The attorney General office consumer protection agency needs to investigate their falsely advertising and changing prices on TV within 3 minutes of stating a lower price. Better off shopping at local stores as they have 90 day returns and if advertised lower within 30 days they refund the difference and if another store has it cheaper they refund the difference plus another 10% off. Paid 186.97 and within the next day it was on sale for 143.30. SO THEY CHEATED ME 42.87 COUNTING REWARDS MONEY. Family and friends have said they returned all their stuff because of the lieing by Host's. Others say they commented to jtv about this and the Host's shut them down and say they can't get it any cheaper anywhere else. THIS IS A LIE AS WELL AS THE SAME THINGS ARE CHEAPER AND MORE BEAUTIFUL IN THE STORES HERE. THEY OWE ME A REFUND OF THE SALE PRICE. THEY OWE ME 42.87. Stop lieing about sizes weights lengths and sending scratched up products. They show AAAA tanzanite and send almost clear stones a light lavender color NOTHING AS SHOWN ON TV. So not a happy customer.

If one is a discerning shopper, great jewelry finds can be found at JTV. I love their Tahitian pearls and Golden South Sea pearls. I have been able to add so many pieces to my jewelry collection with the Stretch Pay option. I love JTV!

Answer: As a longtime shopper, I can vouch that the gemstones are real. If it's a lab-created version of more expensive gems (i. E. Lab Emerald, Lab Ruby, CZ, etc), the title & description will reflect that. Although quality control is hit & miss, I've tested/appraised hundreds of stones from JTV & haven't had any issues with authenticity. Their treatment disclosures are pretty good for the industry. Might I suggest perusing eBay, too? Lots of resalers (like me) can offer better prices on legit stones & jewelry... plus you get the benefit of knowing your seller has already checked for cracks, chips, etc. To be safe, only buy from US sellers & ask questions to ensure they can respond with some knowledge about their goods. Answer: I have several pieces of Moissanite set in Platineve and have not had any problems. I've had some of my pieces for a few years and am happy with the way they have held up. Moissanite is more expensive than CZ's and I wouldn't expect anything less from Charles & Colvard to set these stones in to. Hope this helps!
