IRS
February 17, 2025

I sent the IRS $1300.00 in 2022 and when l had my taxes filed in 2023and 2024 they started sending me notifications where l still owed them almost $2800.00 so l don't know how they came up with that but l went ahead and paid them off but in 2023 l was having a extra $10.00 coming out to avoid this situation again and guess what? It happened again and l do not feel like l owed them anymore money after 2022 but l paid them again so they would leave me alone but NEVER figured out when l paid in 2022 where they came up with 2 years later $2800? I felt l owed them NOTHING...l would not give them even one star if l didn't have to because l felt like l was ripped off and they were threatening me but l would like to know how l paid $1300.00 in 2922 and by 2023 l owed the IRS almost $2800.00 but got a little money for for 2024?!? Someone tell me the answer to this

Very Frustrating Experience
September 16, 2024

Successfully created a new account a few months ago. A few weeks ago I attempted to log in to site and none of my credentials worked soooo I had to start all over again which took forEVER. I have no suggestions except to pack your patience and leave lots of time since this is now being required by IRS

The a****** I talked To at the I, R, s, why is it? They all have to be such a freakin c********* The? The bottom line is, does everybody that works for the irs all just d********. It would be nice if you could just have a conversation with those people and discuss your issue without them analyzing you or thinking you're some kind of crook. Best regards if Trump is in office. He does away with the internal revenue will be the best day of our life. And I hope it's the worst day of yours. Cause now you're NOW unemployed.

Customer service
June 13, 2024

I had to wait on hold for a very long time BUT I'm so thankful for Mrs. Kilbore (badge number **********). She was amazing and helped me with my issue! She was so kind, very patient and explained everything to me. She absolutely deserves a raise!

Awful customer service
January 17, 2024

They force us to pay taxes but sit on the phone for hours trying to get help? Get better customer service. Signed up for a call back after being transferred again & again & they call back then leave me on hold for 40 minutes over over hour of waiting. Awful talking to robots getting hung up on for not having enough people to 'answer my call.'

For the first time I was audited for my taxes in which I already paid my fair share of taxes. They sent me a large bill and said that If I don't pay it in full now, that I will be responsible for more interest to be owed on it.
The tax representative with the IRS said that I could pay it now and dispute it immediately after payment to get my money reimburse back to me.

As a trusting American, I paid the proposed bill and sent in a dispute request 4 times over the last 6 months. They never responded now that they have my money.
The IRS scammed me! This is my country too and I feel let down by government after years of paying my taxes.

My story is like everyone else, disregarded, waited 3 hours after being transferred to be hung up on. I get it we're all pretty much screwed. They set an a pile of money that people need and don't care one bit. But they've made a huge mistake it has not hit my account yet. I've called and let them know their mistake and was pretty much blown off. I'm supposed to Receive 5000-ish. This is what they have. First they had $45,630 the next week they added 10,000 more. Get your crap together and this better not hit my bank account.

Ghetto
January 22, 2021

The IRS is GHETTO. They've stopped taking calls and give you limited little to no help. I'm frustrated! They've taking 4,900 out of my business account and still harassing me to pay. So interest is accruing as we speak. I'm over it and I rather have my money back.

In the Process of appealing. Another headache since someone hasn't did their job correctly.

Tax Refund
February 26, 2021

If you ever manage to get through to a live representative on the phone, you'll more than likely have waited an hour just for them to not take a look at your refund status and tell you it takes 3 weeks to process. Their website is issuing no updates and the mobile app is no better. I guess we all just have to blindly wait for our refunds with no idea on when to expect them. I've attached a step by step on talking to a live representative for the rest of you who may want to try. My advice is not to waste your time until it's been 3 weeks since your return has been accepted.
