This site will ban you if you express any sort of advocacy of any non-freakish lie-beral commie traitor degenerate viewpoint. So much for left-wingers being so tolerant.

Been a member for 12 years. Seen it go from any other image sharing site where mostly memes were posted to an absolutely unhinged hateful echochamber with honestly kinda dangerous fringe elements that go unmoderated. The site has a very obvious liberal bias, which in itself isnt that big of a thing, nowdays there are barely any site that isnt biased, but the extent is insane. I wont make a list of the usual tropes, rather what made me leave the site for good: clear support of terrorism and genocide. Since the israel-gaza conflict multiple posts popped up praising the houthis, and were actually upvoted to frontpage. Comments claiming the hamas attack on oct 7 was justified. Criticizing hamas gets you being piled on, and being called a bloodthirsty genocidal monster (the irony). Suggesting that disenfranchising or EUTHANIZING trump cultists are "good options". These are unmoderated, upvoted posts/comments. Im a lefty/liberal person, but imgur is NOT that, its something that should be monitored by law enforcement.
Advertisers should really spend an hour or two looking at posts and comments unfiltered and ask themselves if they want this platform to be their billboard. Consumers/users (even those who are more aligned with liberals) should avoid it, the couple of cute animal posts does not worth it in the sea of unhinged hate.

Imgur does not even pretend anymore, at this point, to be unbiased or considerate of any even keeled or respectful perspectives. The bias is extremely apparent. In an age of extreme partisanship in all corners of the Internet, Imgur manages to do the impossible: it stands out. There really isn't another site that reaches this levels of blatant disregard for objectivity that the platform does. My words really don't matter, though: just look for yourself. Provoking anger, either amongst its supporters or detractors, seems to be the only goal. I suppose, somehow, that this emotional surge is supposed to be positive in the service of some greater cause, but a permanently angry and incensed population seems to be the opposite of helpful to me in attempting to solve the issues in the world, no matter what your perspective is. Imgur is what it tries so hard to tell you that it isn't: an angry, fuming monster spewing rage at the invisible "enemies" it claims to be fighting.

The lefties took over years ago, and it's just nothing but propaganda pumping out about how evil everyone slightly less extreme are.

Went for the means, left for the bootlicking of the American DNC. The mods do nothing to stop the spread of misinformation and propaganda. I'm no Republican, but any comment against narrative of imgur's toxic community is met with insults and accusations of being a Trump worshipping fascist. Meanwhile, they worship corrupt corporate polticians. Beyond that, it's rife with trauma dumpers dying to be pittied and gofundme scammers with loose sob stories that the gullible idiot masses eat up like cake. Rational people should avoid this app/site like the plague that it is.

Your uploaded images will be downvoted and eventually you will be reported and muted. Even though you didn't violate any rules on the site, the mob has spoken and the mods are on their side. I conducted an experiment and uploaded an image of AOC and how awesome she was, I get about 1400 pts. Two days later. I uploaded an image of a goup of black people who gang raped and murdered a white girl, negative 20 pts. So called Imugrians will also proceed to go into your profile and downvote each of your uploads and comments because they think it's worse than death. It's quite the opposite. The community is toxic and the far-left losers IRL ruined the site.

Most of the people who harass you are neckbeard virgins.

The site is filled with hate. Messages saying "kill all the Police" are not uncommon. I reported them to Imgur and nothing happen. It is cesspit congregating sad individuals manipulated by certain interest groups.

Imgur is run by a couple of amateurs that are unable to understand even the most simple sustomer experience. Everytime I try to post, sonething goes wrong. Occasionnaly the entire post + the entire text disappears. It does not give you an error or anything it just $#*!s with you and leaves you there.

Their advertising is the worst. Their service is non existent. You won't get a reply if you're question is more complex then Hey how was your day.

The users are also terrible. Every post that has something of a LGBTQ remark in it automatically makes the front page. Everybody tries to be some kind of moral knight while in real life they're mostly nobodies that won't do anything. Except crying about how life is difficult and how supporting the imgur community is.

If I'm ever to return to this site it would be because literally every other site on the internet is offline.

Constantly glitches and refuses to upload or restricts access to your own images randomly with no reason or warning for either, ultimately useless given it's purpose.

Wake up and take your daily lexapro with a glass of soy milk? Switch on the t.v to CNN? Wave goodbye to your wife's boyfriend when he leaves in the morning? Humourless and sensitive? Workshy and entitled? Attracted to anime children? Low testosterone?

These welfare children don't deserve a $#*!ty mud hole in the ground and they have a whole website to share their repulsive opinions. It USED to be memes, I'm talking 2015, but when the woke mind virus hit, it was ground zero for anonymous libtard freaks to start posting cringe.

It's a cesspool of people that love to attack one another and spread hateful comments. If you are too old, a different skin color, or a woman, I would avoid this place. It's got more hateful ideology than I've ever found anywhere outside of maybe Reddit.
On top of that, the mods let it happen and are on board with it. I pointed out that someone was being ageist and they could be fired for that in the real world, and they flagged my comment with a "warning" that it goes against their community standards. LOL what standards? These idiots need to take a long look in the mirror.

Imgur is not a place for decent, original human beings who are creative and come up with their own stuff. If you look at anything art related that is posted, it gets immediate hate and has a bunch of 30 year old men with no jobs, live in their mom's basement and have cheeto dust all over their long, crusty beards saying how trash it is. If what I just said describes you, then congratulations! You should go to Imgur! But chances are, you are an actual intelligent human being if you understand how toxic it is and you are reading this. So yeah, would not recommend, -100/10

This is a hate site. There is no room for opinions that oppose the totalitarian regime. All shall be silenced who question the czars of Imgur. It is a left-wing police state. Don't use Imgur unless you are a far left-winger and just want to hear your own opinions spoon fed back to you in the great echo chamber. Imgur dulls the mind quickly as there is no real intellectual debate or conversation. Logical arguments back and forth do not exist. I'm guessing Imgur is probably fun for teenagers who think they are the next Che Guevara or something. Anyway, thank you for attending my TED talk.

I commented on someone who posted that they don't know how to feel about trans women in women's sports. I commented but didn't say anything bad about trans people, i made a valid point. They threatened to suspend my account because it goes against their abusive, harassing, hateful, bullying, or discriminatory policy. Because I don't believe that a man should be allowed in a women's locker room and I can't get behind this movement that exposes young girls and women to rape and sexual assault they removed my comment and threatened to deactivate my account. They think they're these accepting and tolerant social justice warriors, yet if you don't agree with one of their ideologies you'll get banned.

If you're left winged, anti republican, anti Christian, then Imgur is the place for you. If you're right winged, Christian, anti democrat, you get banned. Hundreds of memes bashing Republicans, Trump, Christians, etc. Those are all fine. If you dare post a meme or a comment defending Rupublicans, Trump, Christians, or if you dare to bash democrats or biden, then you get banned very quickly. Try to email support to get some clarification as to why you get banned, and they will not respond to you.

IMGUR might be the most toxic community I've ever seen. It is run by a group of lunatic leftists who will ban anyone who even remotely wavers from towing their political agenda. If you want a peek behind the scenes of Antifa's ideology and network, this is it. They call anyone and everyone they don't agree with fascists and nazis. Their power users, who are all linked up to a discord server which includes the mods and head of community routinely threaten violence and spin up mobs to attack other users.

I set up an account and posted the below picture, which was enough to get the account banned (irony intended).

One can only hope that the corporate advertisers wise up and recognize that they are associating their brands with a hate site.

You'd think they'd just behave like a normal image hosting site like photobucket; but look at their homepage, and apparently also their moderation, and you'll see it's basically a circle jerk for communists, pinkos, useful idiots, and other regressive "progressive" types. I could elaborate and explain, but you'll see all the typical dishonest "political" posts as you see everywhere else, only on imgur it's always one-sided and the other sides get banned for "violating community guidelines" or some hypocritical bull$#*! while other posts are full of blatant overt lies (or as political "activists" call it today, "misinformation" and "disinformation") and even libel and slander.

And apparently, Imgur also hosts child pornography and this apparently is an issue they've had for years too. You have to wonder how they're still in business when so many other image hosters went under despite never doing $#*! like this to drive away users or hosting as much illegal content. Maybe they've received external funding to promote communist rhetoric on their site, but that's just speculation (I haven't looked at their investors or anything).

And it's pretty funny how I have to agree that this review is truthful before post this as well, you obviously don't have to do that for image uploads to imgur.

I've been on the imgur site and app, and it's my first time too. I been noticing a lot of silly pictures, and I think it's fine when I see stuff like that.

However, I also noticed that there are posts and pictures always pointing to how much of a "problem" that the republican party is, let alone posts disregarding Trump. This is coming from someone who was once a supporter of Trump, and having been on the democratic side in the past (Now I'm Independent), the site had turned into an anti-trump and anti-republican webpage which doesn't really help. Soon as I posted a meme pointing out how both parties are bunk, or even leave comments pointing out how both parties are nothing but controlled oppositions or two sides of the same coin, I get downvotes. Not that I have a problem with it, but it does speak in regards to how people think and what that site has become.

Desperate women seeking whatever attention they can get through soft porn posts. Thirsty guys lavishing them with praise while hiding in their white armor and ganging up on anyone who disagrees. Its like Tinder. But the worst, by far is the terrible mods, they feed into this circlejerk while claiming they dont, they are outright hateful to anyone they dont approve of, and they will never change so long as the same desperate women and thirsty men keep giving them ad revenue.

They are legitimately terrible people filled with malice and greed and have no business trying to say they are good.

Can't have your own opinion... They Will censor what they don't agree with... The users like a herd will downvote everything they don't like, very biased political correct place...
