If your only printing a few dozen photos then snapfish may be for you. I was first misguided by the "penny prints" they charge a minimum of 25 cents per photo, should be "quarter prints" They offered me a discount through my email for signing up. By the time I had chosen my 450+ photos I had entered the code which was conveniently located at the top of the page and it said it was invalid. There are other codes on there website to order your prints and when I entered one of the codes it said it was invalid. For 450+ photos they wanted me to spend $145 dollars. While this may be a good deal to some, this was outrageous to me. Double thumbs down.
I ordered 4 photo books of our California family vacation of 4 beautiful, crisp, sunny days. The pictures are awful in the book! Skin looks pale white and sunny blue skies look grey, and every picture is blurry. The sky in the bridge picture is bright, almost cobalt blue in the original. Even Walgreens prints are better. I have gorgeous Snapfish books from years ago, I don't know what happened. :((
I ordered our photo Christmas cards the 1st week of Dec they were stuck in GA for 2 weeks I had to personally file a missing package with both UPS and USPS since that's the way snapfish sent started with UPS - finish with USPS. When I got them 4 days before Christmas the quality looked like junk in fact the 24 hour service at Walgreens that I had always used prior was superior to what I got. They also left off the envelope return address which was supposed to come with it. The ornament I purchased extra of the photo on the card had a hole for the ribbon right through my grandson face making him left off the photo. I tried multi time to contact snapfish they have no number was finally able to chat online and they said " sorry thanks for your business" pitiful customer service. I would not recommend them at all, that experience set me back $90 plus shipping for 60 cards that look awful - an a whole lot of stress! Please use a different service so you are not disappointed.
I ordered a few 4x6 prints as part of a larger holiday card order. I was charged $7 for shipping just for those prints. I also ordered multiple calendars and the shipping was WAY more than actual USPS. Disgusting the deceptive sales practices. I won't be buying from snapfish again
Our order came completely wrong, even though the PROOF we approved showed differently...spent two hours is a chat - which they claim to have moved to for efficiency - and never got any solution...told I was receiving credits, which I never received...and zero Holiday cards for us this year. Snapfish can NOT SUCK ENOUGH!
I ordered calendars on Cyber Monday from Snapfish. First off, I waited until then because Snapfish is so expensive. I needed the discount. At checkout I was given an estimated delivery date of 12/14. It is currently 12/16. The order status on the Snapfish website has an estimated delivery date of 12/13 (three days ago), but the status says my order has not been handed over to UPS yet. I'm currently trying to get an answer from Snapfish on when I can expect to receive my order.
UPDATE: I was finally able to get through. They cancelled my original order and re-ordered it all. They told me it would be here by the 20th. It is now the 23rd and the re-order has not status listed. Trying to contact them again. I would highly suggest not ordering from Snapfish.
Printed holiday cards off center. After 4 chat conversations of more than 30 minutes each, they finally agreed to reprint. They promised it would be better. Reprint project arrived, and it was worse then the first. And no response to multiple emails and requests for refunds. These people are the worst. I should have stuck with Shutterfly- they are always reliable.
I spent hours perfecting the layout etc of 20 identical calendars for Christmas gifts. Got to the checkout and was going to be charged $144! Contacted Australia Post and the correct price is $20. Every communication from Snapfish says that their postage prices are not based on product and weight, but reflect the overall costs. Translation: they inflate postage prices to offset the huge discounts they offer on outrageous original prices.
TERRIBLE! Bad, bad, bad.Do NOT use this company. Everything from not sending me my order to a complete run around beyond that. Whatever happened to customer service?
