I have used Hoka brand for last 4-5 year at 2-3 pairs per year for running. Great shoes and extremely comfortable. Issue is my last pair. After 2-3 months, the insert on the bottom tread fell out. I went to the Hoka site and was informed to send the shoes back and they would be inspected for issue. I followed the instructions and in 7-10 days the shoes were returned with rudimentary information indicating that because I did not have a sales receipt - too bad for you. Given these shoes were a Christmas present and the gifted didn't have the receipt, I didn't have that option. I contacted Hoka to explain the situation and was basically told the only compensation was going to be a 10% discount if I ordered a new pair on the Hoka site. Wow! A whole $14 on a defective $140 pair of shoes? Pitiful customer support

Wife and I have purchased about 8 pairs of Hoka shoes... 5 directly from the company's site.
To our feet these are among the best, if not the best, we've ever worn.
They're not cheap, but occasionally the company has sales they'll email you about if you get on their email list.

One of the very best things about this company in our experience is how friendly their return policy is: In one case we went on line to return a pair we'd held onto for probably half a year... way outside their official return period IIRR. The site processed it smoothly, including printing us a prepaid return shipping label. Gave a full refund very promptly. No questions asked.

A Pathetic Company

The worst company I have ever dealt with. Placed order online and never received the shoes, in fact, the carrier (UPS) never received the shoes. Contacted Hoka repeatedly and no one offered either an apology or remedy. Had to wait 10 days (company policy) to cancel the order and start a refund. Customer service was abysmal.

HOKA HAS THE WORST $#*!ING RETURN
PROCESSING! RETURNED THE SHOES ON 01/08
NOW HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL 01/30 TO GET UPDATE! WHAT TYPE OF BUSINESS IS THIS!
TAKE ALMOST A WHOLE FREAKING MONTH TO PROCESS THE SHOES! ONE TIME AND NEVER COME BACK BUY THIS BRAND
