When I was first diagnosed I experienced a lot of anxiety and fear over all the unknowns. Healthy place.com helped fill in all the blanks and provided a safe place to land.
This is almost like a list of conditions and then articles with basic information about the conditions. If you are completely new to an illness then it's fine, but if you want help, it won't help,
The site provided some very helpful information on psychological disorders. However, the community was extremely unwelcoming, and provided 'support' in a way that was very upsetting. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone.
I didn't find the community very friendly... Maybe I didn't give it enough time, but there didn't seem to be anybody I could relate to.
I found the information on the site helpful, but I found that navigating around the site was a little confusing. I kept getting stuck in some place I didn't know how I got there!
