So basically i ordered mc Donald's at 8:22 and my driver it took him basically and hour to get my order my food got to my house at 9:56 that's alr a red flag right there. So i proceed to wait out side to get my food and the delivery guys says "sorry i had to walk down the street cause i parked farther from your house" so I'm like okay so as I'm eating my food i realized im missing one of my desserts and spentt 56$ on this delivery and it took a hour to come bad service im never getting food from grub hub again and it was my first time to

I ordered three sandwiches totalling $81.33 through Grubhub. The driver only had two sandwiches in the bag. I felt the bag & told him there is only two sandwiches & I did not accept them. I told him to take them back to Blimpies. Would you believe he took a picture of me feeling the bag (it was still in his hand) & he posted the picture as if I accepted the food. I called Blimpies who said they gave him three sandwiches, not two, & that he never came back to the store to return the two sandwiches. I called Grubhub twice, both customer service reps said I will not be refunded. I will never, ever order from Grubhub again!

The first two times I used their service there wasn't an issue. The last several times I used them their service is a complete joke. They NEVER deliver during the time frame they claim. They NEVER want to refund you or cancel the order. I don't want my food after it sat out for over an HOUR waiting to be picked up for delivery. I was trying to cancel it when it hadn't even been picked up because who wants something that is no longer fresh?! It's not the restaurant that is the issue, it's GrubHub. Their customer service is a joke. I tried giving a 2nd chance but the service is garbage. Will not be using their service again.

TERRRRRRIBLE…!

Worst service I've ever received from a company, on a CONSISTENT basis… HORRIBLE… incredibly often, like today for instance… they forgot literally over HALF of our order… and when they're not doing that, they spend much of the time delivering it to the wrong house.

I placed an order for delivery within a specific time window at my job so that it would arrive during my lunch break. Shortly after placing the order, I received a notification that the restaurant was preparing my food. However, an hour later—an entire hour after being notified that my food was being prepared—there was still no delivery. I checked the tracker, and it didn't even show a driver assigned to pick up my order. I called Grubhub customer service to report the issue, and they told me to wait another 15 minutes, assuring me the food should arrive soon. I waited an additional 30 minutes after that call—by which point my lunch break was over—and the food had still not been delivered. At this point, I informed them that even if the food did arrive, it would likely be cold since it had been sitting for over an hour. Initially, the agent only offered me a $5 credit on a $25 order, which was completely unacceptable. After further discussion, they finally gave me the option to cancel and receive a refund. However, by then, the tracker showed that my food was just being picked up. I explained to Grubhub that this was useless to me now since my lunch break had ended, meaning I had to go without a meal. I ended up canceling the order, only to find out that instead of refunding my payment method, they issued the refund as Grubhub credit—essentially forcing me to use their service again despite this terrible experience. Otherwise, I would have to take the entire loss. BE WARNED: THIS IS THE WORST FOOD DELIVERY SERVICE EVER. They previously lost a class action lawsuit for this exact issue, yet they continue the same shady practices. If you want to verify, just Google "Grubhub Class Action Lawsuit." It's clear that even a legal judgment wasn't enough to make them change how they treat customers and their delivery drivers.

Horrible Customer Service
December 31, 2024

I ordered food tonight for me and my children and they immediately took the last money from my debit account, then text messaged me 12 min later saying the order is canceled and my money would be refunded in 5 days. Now my children can't eat tonight and they will not give me any credit to be able to order food for my children. What horrible customer service and I would not recommend them to anyone

They Hire Thieves

Two hours before a text and "delivery" picture was sent. I'd already been standing by the door for 5 minutes. However, nothing was ever delivered. The picture shows on the orange Grubhub bag and nothing to indicate that it was at my house. I hate Grubhub but I get it free with Amazon. And, I LOATHE THIEVES! Merry Christmas, Jerk!

The worst
December 5, 2024

I supposedly get GrubHub+ with Amazon. 80% of my orders never arrive and what does is cold. Do NOT use GrubHub. In the last week or so had a driver steal my Pizza. And then not deliver two other orders when I could not get out of the house due to illness. In my case my illness actually worsed due to lack of expected food intake.Thei AI help bot could not care.

If you enjoy over-priced ice-cold food, use the Grubhub service! This evening, I had the pleasure of using a $40 gift card I was given from my work to order a dinner. We ordered three hamburgers from Red Robbin. The bill came to over $80! After watching the driver pick up my food at the restaurant, I then watched them make a stop at another restaurant. After picking up an order form there, they proceeded to drive clear across town (in the opposite direction) and drop that order off. I watched our dinner drive around for over 30 minutes. By the time the food finally got to our house it was ice cold. I asked that it be left on the bench by our front door. It was placed on the ground. Well, at least with the gift card it only cost me $40. Oh, wait. They charged the full amount to my credit card and did not use the gift card at all. So, I paid over $80 for 3 cold hamburgers. After chatting with support, I was told there was nothing that could do but offer me a $5 credit. Amazing. Use at your own risk.

Never Grubhub

I wrote this exact review on a differ platform, too. First, we cancelled our Grubhub+ a month ago due to pretty bad experiences with their partner restaurants and errors (every time) on our orders. Tonight, however, was the final straw. We gave them another try at full price. Our order was cancelled an hour and ten minutes after the order was picked up by the restaurant. It was cancelled AFTER the driver arrived at the restaurant and sat for 30 minutes. He then proceeded to deliver another order, RETURNED TO THE RESTAURANT, where he sat for another fifteen minutes. He then updated the delivery time which would have made our delivery 30 minutes late and then, suddenly, cancelled the order. The cancellation was not due to being out of a menu item. When that happens, the order is cancelled right away. That has happened to us before. We thought maybe it got so late that the restaurant had closed at that point. Nope. I called the restaurant, and they were still open and would be open for another three hours.

The FIRST time I used Grub Hub, I ordered as I usually do on Uber Eats. I got a text message that the Grub Hub driver needed a pin to complete my delivery. My husband was OUT FRONT at the time waiting for the driver. I texted the pop up pin to the driver believing he would then leave the order with my husband. DRIVER NEVER SHOWED UP. Food was never delivered. Money was kept. I informed Grub Hub and they just said they "notated" that the driver texted for the pin. When I complained that I wanted a refund because we receive NO FOOD, they said 48 hours had gone by since the delivery, so no refund. A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS. POOOOOOR SERVICE. THEIVES.

Orders are wrong, they don't check it, they deliver to the wrong address and lets face it, grubhub just wants your money and have no customer service skills. Save your money and time, it is not a time saver when your food arrives cold, over priced and thats IF you actually get your order.

See the picture, their proof of delivery except it is not my front porch!

Check your receipts. Past month Grubhub has been increasing service fee after order delivered when charge posts to account. Food price, tax and tip stay same, but their service fee increases. For example when orders placed fee $4. Final charge then $4.80. How is this not illegal? Beware!

Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means.

Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

I go hours without an order, even on a busy weekend night. And they drop your orders somehow. Their system is rigged and not worth it. I've done so many delivery services like door dash, etc. but this has been the worst.

GrubHub you have a serious problem with your drivers not using the insulated bags that are provided to them. Its lazy and unprofessional! My meals arrive consistently cold! I live in the northeast so its very cold out this time of year!
