I would sincerely like to keep up with what is happening in our government so i found this site and have signed up for notifications for over a year. One of their core values is"We are committed to democracy." They clearly lean democrat. The site allows vulgar responses to those who jump through hoops to voice an opposing opinion. Their reporting on bills being presented contain bias jokes and sarcasm rather than plain facts. This is where we are in the world... sad, especially for those of us genuinely interested in being informed.

GovTrack is an open data-type website which uses government community data to track federal legislation, and information about your representatives & senators in Congress, including voting records, and original research on bills and votes. You can search by legislator or by subject, to get the information on specific lawmakers or legislation. This site should be a must-have bookmark for activists or anyone looking for the latest information regarding specific bills in Congress.
