We were having so many problems with marketplace insurance, everytime we turned around we were getting something in the mail from marketplace stating our insurance had been canceled, it also stated the reason it had been canceled was because we canceled it.
We called and it would get fixed and then same thing happened again, this went on and on for 4 to 6 months, it was back and forth, we were calling our premium in and then it would start all over again, everytime a broker touched our account they would receive a check in the mail, so brokers were not just going in our account but other accounts to get money for themselves, so we caught on to what was going on and never called marketplace again and we setup an online account and paid it that way and we have never had another problem since.
Problem solved!
I do hope this helps someone not have to go through the anguish we endured.
This is not a government entity though their name deliberately implies otherwise. They safeguard themselves with a very weak disclaimer but use scripts that heavily insinuate they're with the US government.
