I placed my first order with them last month and was pleasantly surprised that the item I ordered (Keychain) came undamaged and working good (so far). What I didn't like was the 4-week wait time, which apparently included some customs delays. Will probably order again.
I recently purchased a floor mat from ghibli.store. Their website advertised the item as the official Ghibli product, but the actual product was a cheap counterfeit mat, presumably from China based on the tag.
Update: After seeing this review, the store issued a refund and asked me to update my review. I increased my rating. Based on other reviews, it's unclear whether the store will honor refund requests if the customer doesn't go through the trouble of posting a public review.
The store should not have deceived customers by advertising the official product and shipping a counterfeit fake item in the first place. Shipping took 1 month from order date to arrival. It was very time-consuming to justify my refund request to the store. And I still don't have a floor mat after 1 month.
I love that Ghibli Store has a large variety of products. It allows you to be able to find basically anything you're looking for. My order was shipped out not long after placing and is on the way with an expected delivery of next week. This will be my first order! I cannot wait!
I think the Covid delayed the delivery but I got my stuff finally, it is pretty cute and I love it. They have offered a 5% discount code for the next order as an apology for the delayed.
I have been trying to get in contact with them the last 3 days I purchased a Totoro backpack for my daughter late Wednesday and when I got the confirmation email it said the order was on hold until they can confirm they received payment. I never received anything else after that so I emailed them asking what was going on with that and they have not responded I have sent 5+ emails to them trying to get a response and nothing. I made an account with them and when I try to log in to see if I can see my order and it says I don't have one even though I got a conformation email that I made an account. Before purchasing my item I put my email in to get a 15% of coupon and it never sent to my email but I still purchased the item anyways because it was "on sale" but there is ALWAYS a sale on everything. Don't let it fool you. I have looked all over for a phone number and no numbers are given just an email. The site says it has 24/24 buyer help service which obviously is not the case. My daughter has been asking for this backpack non stop since I bought it and she's going to be so disappointed if it doesn't come or not like the picture.
Shipping time is a bit long, about a month, but the goods still arrive in good condition. Will buy again.
