I have experience with many many customer support teams from godaddy, bluehost & others... I didn't complain, but with gandi i have found them arrogant and unhelpful. I had a major problem and and they told me to do what i have tried already and could be checked from their end.
Also, i have not seen any whois privacy service. They only hide few information about yourself. Also their DNS editor is very complicated to use. The name of their servers is also complicated.
They provide free email service but today, the service is down for 3 hours.
I have tested their server cloud and found it was more expensive than other clouds.
Wow, worst customer service I've ever experienced! Not only were the support emails extremely vague, but in every one they blamed me for the issues with their new site and never once apologized or said we'll look into it.
Apparently they also do not like customers having the last word either. My last reply I suggested turning the info I gave them over to a tech support and was told it's not their fault but mine. Go create another account! I was told this 5 times!
Why in the world would anyone recommend these people? I went to them because of EFF.org, but there's no way I'm creating another account with them.
They purposefully make it a hassle to report abusive domains they represent.
They ignore emails to their abuse address.
Instead they require you to fill out their abuse form, so you have no proof of the complaint, then they ignore the complaint.
I've used Gandi for 20+ years. Good site for hosting UNIX based straight HTML web sites, but the pathetic attempt to filter outgoing email is completely UNACCEPTABLE. They are often blocking my legitimate email based on some STUPID "FALSE" reason and there is NO way around it. Am now looking for their Replacement!
